TopHat, you have diplomatic replies in your Stardock mailbox... I see you have taken two turns since your absence so I just want to make sure you are getting messages alright. Actually, while on this topic, I wonder if we could all agree *not* to use the in-game messaging system. It is slow, does not allow you to keep messages, and really is kind of crap.

Same here. The score tables have changed, and show that Marverni's gem income grew since last turn; that implies that he did get his turn in on time. Not sure what is going on here...
Well, is there anyone reading this who would like to sub in for Marveni, with the understanding that it might just be temporary if TopHat shows up again? To give you an idea of where they stand in relation, here are the current scores: http://www.llamaserver.net/showScores.cgi?game=DawnOfTheMorning They are highest on research and have an above average army size.
So it seems TopHat is MIA... now what? Should we start looking for a sub?
TopHat, you still with us?

Death dust is serious business, Elana. I'm in the chat now, if you are online.

We are not actually participating in this referendum and, anyway, any decisions reached as a result would have no mandate over the C'Tissian people. Therefore, please remove C'Tis from this tally.
I brought this up to the C'Tissian Council of Twelve. Unfortunately, eleven of the councilors were too stoned on death gem dust to be of much use. The twelfth councilor, Ophidian XII, however, is a constitutional law expert and had much to say on the matter. He suggested that in fact such a decision would not be binding, since, as everyone knows, C'Tis is an independent nation and not party to any "one world government". He furthermore suggested that attempts by other putatively indep

If anything it has been at the expense of my empire's infrastructure, but I won't go into details on that. In any case, neither Arcoscephale or Abysia has any reason to complain about me. I think I have been quite accommodating with both of my neighbours. In Arcosc

I'll have you know that I am a perfectly friendly neighbour. Why, both Arcoscephale and Abysia are invited to the annual barbeque I am having next turn. Guys, how do you like your dragonfly burgers? Well done?
It is rather quiet, isn't it? Well, I have met one opponent, Arcoscephale, as mentioned above, but I have black candles showing to my east and south as well. Wonder who that might be... seem to be generating heat, whoever they are.
I'm fine with waiting for you, bpalczewski. By the way, I am also in Toronto.
I would love to know how several players have conquered so many provinces so quickly?
Well, in Abysia's case, I suspect it is because he managed to win the bid on the mercenaries (Burelk's Whatevers). That gave him two starting armies to work with. Otherwise, he would probably have had the same problems he had in Elementalists, as Abysia fields very expensive troops so it would take a while to build up the first army.</

Um, more seriously... let's see. Most of the time the fliers will be told to target your rearmost troops, with the hopes of taking out your mages. I would think having a solid group of soldiers guarding your commander would take care of this threat.
So has anyone else encountered each other in the game yet? This turn Arco and I discovered that we are neighbours when we both invaded the same territory without knowing the other was there. I almost accidentally killed his pretender; she was leading the battle but managed to flee to safety along with a few other survivors.

Do blesses only come from your initial Pretender paths or can you improve your bless by empowering your Pretender during the game?

Tophat, would it be possible to edit the initial forum post to show the nations and who is playing them?
Fine with whatever. If we have a nine-player map, though, maybe we can let the 9th player be a random AI, just for fun.
My apologies for the map issues. I took on a task that was beyond my current skill and knowledge level. Sorry for the delays and restarts.
No apology needed, Wonderloss. In any case, it seems nobody minds restarting the game.
Although I am not against the patch, I think it might create problems for me. As you may know I am still in the Elementalists game. Well, barely, but I fear I cannot patch my copy of Dom3 without affecting that game as well. I suppose I could try to find a sub for that game, or let my measly territories be taken over by the AI, if the other players consented.
