Would it be possible to put the game on 48 hour turns for the weekend? I will not have great access this weekend. Thanks in advance. Also, going forward, it would make the game much faster if the last person to submit a turn waits five minutes and then submits their next turn as well. I think that happened this turn anyway, but as a general rule I think it makes sense.

How did that happen, Ulm? Well, at least you have/had a god. Inconnu seems to be a no show for some reason. Perhaps he/she will show his/her blessed face at some point soon, so we can get this game started correctly. Marveni seems to have lost his capital to Sauromatia, but he also has a ~180 troop force just sitting near our border watching Abysia and I fight. Not quite sure what that's all about. Marveni, if you are not going to defend yourself, perhaps I could beg of yo
Now that I have seen the turn play out, I think it was more of an even fight. I lost more troops, true, but yours were much more expensive to build. I lost a lot of the militia who oddly joined up with me over the last few turns. Not much else to do with them but sacrifice them to Inconnu on the front lines of his/her blessed army. Since they were free, and kind of crap, I don't care all that much.
Indeed, defense is the word of the day. I held the line on your attacks, and you mostly held the line on mine. Carnage, though, is definitely the word. I lost one of my HOF commanders, and my assassins were by and large too stupid to attack your actual commanders, instead fighting their summoned skeletal minions. Only one succeeded in actually killing a commander. Seems like we're only at the beginning of this fight. I don't m
You mean it's not a jalapeno-flavoured ice cream? Oh dear. The troops will be very disappointed to hear that. I promised them there will be ice cream once we take your capital. I am at work and cannot load up the game and see what happened in our skirmishes. Looks like you did slightly better than I did, based on the stats before and after, but not by much. Can't wait to see the carnage when I get home from work tonight.
Abysia, I have to ask: what the hell is a "smouldercone"? Some kind of jalapeno-flavoured ice cream?
Can't you tell if it's an Abysian assassin if you watch the battle? I don't think anyone else here has that capability, unless it's an indie assassin, if such things exist. I have to say I find the concept of Abysian assassins quite amusing. I would think the whole "burning man" thing might make it hard to sneak up on people.
Uggg... so confusing. TopHat, allow me to act as a broker in this negotiation, as I believe I have the confidence of both of you right now, and frankly, I would rather the two of you were at peace for my own purposes. Sauro has sent me his email address. Please also send me yours and we can have a three-way conversation via email about this. Please do so quickly, however, as I would like to get this sorted out before one of you accidentally destroys the other ;-)
Caelum, you staled your turn -- everything ok? I'm not sure what you mean by the "NAP-3 rule", other than NAP-3 having an accepted meaning of being a non-aggression pact maintained for three turns. I have personally kept all of my agreements, and intend to continue doing so, but are there any greater rules that really enforce this? I mean, if someone chooses to violate a treaty, is there any reason why that should not be allowed to happen in-game? From a roleplaying perspective I

My scholars have now determined that the hoo-mon phrase "we declare war on you" actually means "hail neighbour, shall we set up trade and establish borders". It is all so confusing, really. We apologize for the poor translation and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship. As our Sauroma

Just because we do not adhere to your silly hoo-mon notions of cleanliness and decorum, that does not make us filthy people. Also, the maid has the week off. It looks like we may have another problem. All of the players have submitted their 2H files but the server does not seem to be processing them. Not sure if this means quickhost is off or broken or what. Wonderloss, do you think you could take a look see? Thanks in advance.
We're back up, yay. So it looks like somebody is taking Acrosephale down pretty quickly -- they're down to only four territories. Guess they wanted that tabloid shut down in a hurry. Wonder what they have to hide?
Server is down again. Not sure if Marveni is back or what, guess it doesn't matter if he cannot submit his turn. Wonderloss, are there any alternatives to Llamaserver or is this game stuck with it? These crashes and delays are becoming quite common.
So....
I don't know what you people are talking about -- I still intend to win this game! To the death, I say!
Rude? Rude? You spread like a plague over the land, taking ever more and more and have the effrontery to call me rude?.
I would hardly call spreading the good word of Inconnu to savages "rude". It is our god-given right, nay responsibility, to make lesser species like yourself aware of his/her divinity. How rude. And to think all I did was ask you to vacate a territory that a previous message had informed you I would be taking. Well, I would have rather kept the peace with you but if you want war with me that is fine too. This is probably a good time for another announcment to be made, however, I will leave that for them to decide.
Sorry, guys, missed a turn. Not like I can do much anyway but I apologize for making you wait.
Methinks what Caelum means is that he would like us to release our elephant squad from their contract and allow them to be hired by Caelum instead. I have no objection to this in theory, but I think I should warn you that the elephants are, ummm, not in the pristine condition they were in when we hired them. They have served us well, though.
