The random map generator put a Lost Library on Imperium's walls, then in the same game I had the AI build a city on top of an Air Node ! Previous game (.80) I had the AI build a city on a watchtower.

You're right I'm wrong. Tested it and the 3hp are properly added. Absolutelly no idea where these 3% come from though...
Aura of Vitality: is supposed to grant 1hp per essence in city where unit is built But instead it grant 1% hp bonus per essence which is a bit ridiculous, even if you only build juggernauts or iron golems...
Found this weird situation on my game. Looks like the map maker did not knew how to handle this kind of situation.
I noticed that each time I am fighting against a Defender Hero, the AI is doing a VERY poor job at using it and the Hero spend the whole fight casting guard on itself. Obviously there's something wrong with the AI programming here; casting Guard may have some sense in very specific situation were the hero is recievieng the attacks while other are damaging the opponents. But it was not the case in all the fights I had. The AI hero was just like a maniac in his corner of the map cas
I had this issue with a .75 game, not opportunity to try it with .80
Yes that is the most important. I forgot to report it. Thanks,
I noticed in two different games this strange behavior: If an ennemy capture an outpost and you claim it back AND if your outpost had the Hightower upgrade (increased areao of control) then the following turn you have captured the outpost, the area of control is only one squqre around the outpost instead of 3 for an outpost without a hightower upgrade. I do not have this behavior with normal (non-upgraded) outposts. Once you reload the game, the outpost retrieve it's norma
Haha it wasn't like Columbus to discover the new continent but rather Pizarro: the Altars had no iron in their domain and no horses on their continent, but huge armies of leather-clad bowmen, quite funny in the endgame where most everyone is relying on heavily armored knights. I uploaded a savegame without my magically raised bridge and here's the full map thanks to the cheat suggested by Publius. Note that what look like a small tip of hearth on the extreme NW of the map is a
Ah thanks for the cheat Publius. But meanwhile I went Columbus all the way to their continent (or I should rather say "Moses all the way"). And yes the guys are there on their little island a few tiles from my furthermost coast on the NE.
I have been playing more than a 100 turn without meeting Altar (although that did not prevent them to declare war to almost any all the other factions. When I achieved exploring the map I noticed they were nowhere to be seen. As you can see on the map above, there's a huge area of sea under FoW in the NE part and I surmise that the guys are there isolated and have been doing pretty
I noticed that the cost of increasing the size of an army is only paid with a *small* amount of Gildar and do not take in account the resources requirements (i.e. metal & crystal). Therefore, easy thing to do is build a party of 3, and then upgrade to a company of 6 at a ridiculous cost (a few tenth of Gildar to replace many dozens of crystal & metal). I think this is an exploit due to a missing check rather than an inconsistency.
I confirm "Defeated Sovereign in battle" nor "Pyre of Man" were activated in my case.
Already reported here for 0.51 Looks like the dev had no time to fix this minor inconsistency. Well minor only if the loss of control proc properly. Did you experiment with it or not ?
I suppose that this UnitStat_AIControlChance is a variable lacking a proper description and should be a % that the player lose contol of his character. I had no time to test it so can't say if this is also preventing the AI to take control.
Using the Beast Master Tame spell, I noticed somthing wrong in the victory status screen. Here is an exemple with a stack containing a single Cavebear. The problem is in the result screen, which display the name of the previous combat: I guess this is a minor error reading a variable not initial
Confirmed, had same issue on one of my games, but I cannot tell if this was specific to the game or a general issue. Will repost if it appear again.
Humm yes does not sound righ for me to have a panther type moving at 2. Solution may be to allow it to be equiped with any mount but do not (obviously) modify the picture. This way it stays balanced.
When it comes to monsters with the attribute "Large" I can understand that they are impressively sized, even on the strategic map. As we can see here on the strat map, both the Garrote and the Cave Bears are bigger than a usual monster (they both have the attribute "Large") But then, if I enter the tactical / combat mod
Actually the bug is also present with skills (here Guard from the defender skilltree) and happen continuously in my case (0.51)
The Bashing Maul is supposed to have the Bash & Splash properties, but I never saw them triggered once in a dozens of fights and hundreds of hit. Guess it is bugged. And yes I noticed I'm a minor revision late but I suppose it has not been fixed based on the changelog.
I'm upping this, as of 1.31, in the campaign/scenario the sword of wrath is still not giving back the 5HP per kill.
That's just a the mouseover and not the actual cost which is properly updated (tried to xploit that already ;), if you get out of the city-screen and come back again the mouseover is then properly updated. But yep confusing ...
I think this is just an other instance of the "not updating properly upon an event" curse of the whole development... If I lose control of a town or an outpost due to ennemy/monster destroying/taking control, then the overlapping ZoC is not properly processed and some random/inconsistent ZoC is displayed. As usual, reloading the game correct this behavior... Exemple: Town lost due to rampaging Dragon: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/SxIr4.jpg[/IMG
Looks like intended if you compare with other traits: they are additive and I'm not sure the wording is different. However a more precise description avoiding people pondering if its normal or not would be welcome.
