I'd say no, since things keep changing. They want to be working on the game, not spending time rewriting manuals constantly.

Do you have the debug or the save game file for this?
It does need sorting yes. I expect they will tweak it a lot before release. It would only require altering data values anyway.
Frogboy don't you dare release it before the 1st of June (when my exams start). [e digicons]:typo:[/e] Please release it on the 4th (when they end) [e digicons]:)[/e]
If you install it from the box, it's a retail edition. The main point is that you don't get the updates if you don't register (so only legit users can get the nice cool updates). The combo they have means that you get the retail SE box on release, but you can beta test beforehand.
Mana is generated by characters individuallly - it's the blue bar around the portrait (if they have essense). The bottom left count is spell points, for learning new spells. Arcane laboratories etc (stuff from the magic tech tree) generate these.
With respect to the original question, it means they can cast magic. Which is very useful. Once you have a few people to cast teleport, you can effectively move armies instantaneously within your realm. I'm thinking that this could lead to some very interesting strategies when it comes to border conflicts.
The essence is not to build the city, but to revive the land. Revived land = no essence cost. Only possible once you have quite large cities, aince there's limits on how close they can be.
One thing I've found is that while the essence factor limits ICS at the start of a game, once your borders are well expanded, you can build on good terrain without worrying about essence. One possible solution to this is to have prestige take a hit when near other prestigious cities. Why should I go and live there when there's a better city over there? Possibly you could limit it further, eg "due to the proximity to CITYDELUXE, this settlement will never dev
One (reported) CTD, no other problems in however many hundreds of turns. It's a go from me
I would vote for The British National Party. As I understand it, they're a bunch of socialist bully-boys who tend to draw voters away from Labour and the Lib-Dems. I think I'd opt for the UKIP myself.
Unless you mean National Socialist... Far right racism. The only good thing to come out of this election was that they got pretty trashed. </p
Had just lost battle against bandits in 'rescue knight' quest. On pressing kingdom report (I think, it might have CTDed before I clicked) it CTDed.
We finally have our election tomorrow. I'm curious to know, what are the thoughts of people around the world? Who do you want to win? In Britain the Conservatives (main opposition) dominate the newspapers and have huge amounts of money yet still aren't winning convincingly. Yet Labour's vote seems to be collapsing anyway, quite a bit of it to the third party Lib Dems.
I'm pretty sure this is a known bug. Resources are nuked if you demolish their respective building.
Can you provide the minidump for it?
I suspect a shortage of female characters, so here's one. A disowned princess, intelligent and lightly armed. PM or email for name.
The beta games are locked on 'tiny' maps currently.
Pyromancer, that was a bit tactless. The point is that posts like this have a tendency to crash stuff and are hard to read, Since it's only the dxdiag and you've linked to the others, should be ok. Can you give some indication of what you were doing when the crashes occured?
delete please - forum went silly
Coming to this a little late, but... I would still prefer the lore factions. I wouldn't take too much from that poll, because a) The people who beta test are more likely to play custom stuff and b ) The factions aren't specifically fun to play yet as the lore isn't there. I played GalCiv 2 for years and have only played with custom races a handful of times.
Ignore the AI for now. It's uber bad, really basic stuff. Wonder when it'll get done though?
Good morning Hortz...
With the cancel button for battles, maybe 'call off attack' would be better. Sounds more like what you are doing - seeing if an attack is worth it and deciding against.
I believe it was a certain game called 'Galactic Civilizations 2' by some random American company, can't remember what they were called...
