is that a typo or are you really releasing Patch Q today? i might have to wait and play Civ 5 some other day.
I never go up the diplomacy tree... I hit the adventure tree early, then the warfare track, then the bare minimum i need from civilization and magic, and then back to warfare all the way.
Whether I research them or not, the higher level champions become available to me if someone else researches those techs right? So what's the point?
same here... 1.0.9p was fun until i ran into too many bugs, now i've stopped playing. did you see my post on the endless supply of goodie huts? the goodie huts were out of control. i also still have unprotected pioneers going through my territory during war time. ugh, i thought that was fixed too. the fact that loading the game generates a bunch of game objects that weren't there when i saved it bugs me too. i wish they could somehow protect the integrity o
don't want to reveal my arena strategy here, but i send all champions out on exploring missions except the ones that give +10% production or +20% food. this message will self-destruct.

i once ordered a game from another company... sent it back (paid for shipping) because they sent me the wrong version. i've never heard back from them no matter how many times i tried to contact them... so they got my money for the original game i purchased and i lost money shipping the wrong version they sent me back... now that's a bad company!
i could support that idea... you can have food producing buildings, but only after you've built high-level cities like level 4 or 5 (not spammed ones).
Right now, we're forced to build a workshop to produce +1 materials as our first building... anytime you take choice away from a player, you might as well just give it to them. i think the easiest solution is just have capitals produce +1 materials. I saw that you're going to give +5 materials to every player in 1.0.9q, but i don't think that's the right solution.
The spice must flow, but the food must not... I say reduce the food even more... Help prevent city spam. Don't worry, they'll probably make a slider so that all the city spammers can be happy with lots of food in their game.
the problem with that is that there are non-human champions you can recruit who can't wear boots. argh!
I'm not sure why Stardock hasn't addressed this, but I'm sure you could whip out a patch for us that aren't as mod-savvy.
If you guys are keen to keep the 99 turn non-aggression pact, then i would like you to add diplomacy option called "right of passage" or something which is simply open borders for 10 turns or so.
here's hoping that fixing all your crashes will help fix all my crashes too.
yeah EWoM has always had problems on loading saved games since Day 1. 1.0.9p still has those problems. i would have thought that protecting the integrity of the saved game was Game Development 101, but maybe it's not...maybe it's hard.
