Sean, where's the graph? You can't take a poll, promise a graph, and then not deliver. Have you heard the story about the boy who cried wolf?
I also think the change proposed by the OP would homogenise the game and reduce its fun and interest...
I don't know what homogenise means, but I agree 100%.
I disagree that traits have to come as if a champion was leveled up starting from level 1. In fact, I don't want it that way. I want these heroes to be unique. I want them to have combinations that you can't get any other way (i.e. Path of the Mage + Lore II, Path of the Mage + Path of the Warrior.). Their starting values should all be different. Some dude may not have as many traits as his level would dictate, but he comes with a unique spell and a compa
Lower land can't make an island and raise land doesn't make mountains. Those spels can't isolate you.
That's what I told them, but they won't listen to me.
I think they should leave it at 5 and let us Beta test it. Let's find out if we abuse it or not. Maybe we won't. Maybe we will. That's why this is a Beta. It takes more than 1 shot to significantly modify the land with this spell so a 5 mana cost is really about 15-25 mana. Do you want to use up 25 mana to make a little hill or cast Blind 6 times. Oops, I hope I didn't awaken the "Blind is OP!" herd.
I still don't know what it does. Tell me again. Tell me like I'm in the first grade.
For the record, I like Civ V and FE. Apologies to Lord Xia.
Unfortunately, that would mean they're holding back some more bugs too.
Where's my graph and chart as promised by the OP?
Ummm... do you mean .983 and .984 not .984 and .985?
I should have posted the saved game or screenshots because you probably don't believe me, but trust me on this! After choosing the first Warfare tech to complete, I was able to apply the rest in the Civ tree and learn two more techs. I could have also applied it to Magic techs. I don't think that is the intent is it?
end of message.
And since I come from the wordsmithing school of "less is more", I'll offer: This dagger is popular with warriors and field surgeons, who use its blade to cauterize wounds.
http://pastebin.com/WjEMkyY1 It did not leave a dump file.
Press "2" or "1"
I will be disappointed if this bug still exists in .984. This has been around a long time.
Any plan to fix the duration of Tremor? It currently only lasts for a single turn, despite saying it lasts for two.
I wonder if the code is counting the current turn as one of the turns. If so, that's an easy fix. Tell us it's 2 turns in the UI, but program 3 turns in the code. Wow... Maybe I should be a programmer.
This for some out of character comments. 1. I am starting to get impressed with the game balance. This war is very entertaining. I'm on the defensive, mostly because I do not have enough units to go around. I have yet to lose a fight with my main champions, but there have been a few close calls - Nochd is out of potions, and Karavox has only one left. Money is tight, but not too tight. Resources are another matter.<b
1. Do you feel monsters act too randomly? Yes and No. Heck, they're monsters. I don't mind wolves and mites acting randomly, but scary monsters should not act randomly. They should target and destroy nearby passersby and outposts and cities. 2. Do you feel like early game monsters are too powerful? No. If I adventure too far out, I run into some nasties... but that is what I would expect of a dangerous world. <b
Let's get back on track. Brad, aren't you going to the Caribbean on October 23 after FE releases?
Can someone define "polish" for me? If we're talking about a clean interface, then Civ V was polished the day it came out. If we're talking about having lots of bells and whistles in the UI, solid AI, and perfect balance, then yeah they're still working on it.
What's this? Another overpowered faction trait? Perfect! Brad and Derek are chuckling. And just as a reminder: Tarth's invisibility to monsters and extra movement points are overpowered. Pariden's access to all spell books, arcane monoliths, and Procipinee crown are overpowered. Altar's henchmen are overpowered. Kraxis' fortify and wealth are overpowered. Resoln's Dirge spell, spiders, and shard elementals
I hope they don't fix it by removing it from the game. I really want to be able to build a custom faction that generates a ton of influence.
Same issue reported by HF about Blight and Recall scrolls. Making a separate post so it doesn't get missed.
