Trojasmic
I admit I get frustrated when the monsters don't attack the AI as quickly as I would like (or chase me 3 tiles away when they're standing right next to an AI unit), but I have seen them destroy enough AI units and cities to say that they aren't totally ignoring the AI.
I would like to use them, but the amount of city construction time has just never been worth it. Too high cost for the benefits.
This. The city production queue is too precious to be used on the current outpost upgrades.
I'm loving the new tactical battles! FE was way too easy... I like that I'm forced to think about designing proper troops for these new tactical battle maps and abilities.
I use them rarely... mostly because I forget. The upgrades aren't interesting enough to remember I guess. When I do remember, I choose Consulates, but I think they have way too expensive labor cost. I tried Warden when I was next to some nasty monsters, but I don't think it helped much. I would use Hightower, but my games are usually over by then. I agree with some of the other ideas that they should either: a ) auto-upgrade when you learn the t
Freeze and Tremor all the time. Tidal Wave when I can. Wither if I'm playing Ceresa and converted all my shards to death. I don't think Pillar of Flame is worth the cost, but use it sometimes. Tornado is fun!
Pioneers cost gold instead of population
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Would you settle for a compromise? 15 gold and 15 pop?
I see you have an excellent name Trollasmic lmao Stick to your own business and leave me to mine thank you very much.
There's a reason Heavenfall created a UI mod for FE. Are you calling him a nitpicker? Them's fightin words! He's not a nitpicker. He simply understands and appreciates good user interface elements. By the look of this thread, there are others who do to.&
Go back to bed Willie. There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who understand user interfaces (and get paid lots of money to know user interfaces) and those who don't. Yes, you can hover over every little icon for more information, but you shouldn't have to. Do you have a smartphone? Did you know that Apple and Google define best practices around button and icon size? Of course, you didn't. Well there's a reason ... neverm

I'll try to write more later and submit my bug reports... just wanted to say great job!
I wish Stardock would invite its 10 favorite forum users to play FE/LH in their office while they watched us interact with the UI...
Despite its flaws, FE is one of the best games ever made. BUY IT!
However much time you're spending on the UI, double it! I'm a big fan of UI. I need good UI! P.S. Oh and make it moddable so anything you don't get right, the modders will. :-)
The AI does not perform immunity checks before attacking. I know this has been reported numerous times before and there are numerous examples of this ... here's one: AI Dragons breathing fire on my fire elementals has no effect. P.S. I assume this will be even more important in LH with things like immunity to physical weapon damage so please FIX IT!
There are a lot of things I love about FE and a few things that I hate... glad to see some of them being addressed in FE namely: a ) movement path with # of turns identifier b ) attempts at solving the pioneer spam problem c ) closer tactical battles so that i stop winning every time with ranged units d ) champion level-ups e ) champions come to you
I'm not a modder, but I will say that the UI still stinks after all these years so I wish they had made it more open so that the modding community could have made it a lot better.
working now... thx brad!
