Top 5 Mod Tweaks? 1. I wish the UI were moddable... in fact, I wish it were skinnable. I think this game would lend itself really well to UI skinning (think StarCraft). I wish each faction would have had its own skinned interfaced. That would have been cool. If it were too much work, SD could have just made two skins - kingdom and empire and then opened it up to the community to create other skins. 2. I wish there were a built-in
quoting post 6) I'm not a great fan of random game events that cause things like eveyone declaring war on each other. I seem to remember a game setup setting where the frequency can changed. Hope it can be turned off. I'll have to check. I was thinking of buying the LH addon until I seen this ^^. I am very sad to see that the AI still goes nuts w
Thanks, Troj! Really appreciate it. We're getting a LOT of help too. Like the way Civilization V looks? A lot of that is due to Dorian Newcomb formerly of Firaxis. He's come on board to help us on the visuals. Soren Johnson (Civilization IV lead) has been helping on UI (there's a ton of UI improvements coming in). Kael and I, of course, have a long list of improvements we're working on.
I like the ideas of reducing mana cost on Soul Spark and increasing damage of Guarded Strike to 100%. The others are fine in my opinion.
I miss being burned...
new warrior skill tree looks great... are you open to modifying the mage traits a bit?
that's funny dude
I'm more and more impressed with all the things you've improved over FE. If FE had 20 things wrong with it, you've nailed like 18 of them. Great work across the board!
I know it's a little thing, but it always really bugged me that you had to get within melee range to use a ranged weapon... just wanted to let you know this little change did not go unnoticed!
Wraith Touch and Flame Tongue are awesome! You guys just aren't leveling your units high enough. My units were doing 56 damage with Flame Tongue.

I don't see it anymore even if I have Earth II and Water II... [e digicons]>:([/e]

Nope... whenever you release a new patch, I always start a new game.

So do they or don't they?
I don't think some of you are getting what I'm saying. I don't care how the AI determines its value of what I am trading. I understand that the numbers change depending on how much the AI likes me and whether or not I'm ahead on the scoreboard. That doesn't matter. If the value of the declaring war on Kraxis is 500, fine. If it's 1000, fine. I don't care. What I do care about is when the perceived value is 500. I want
It's nice to have that kind of enough when selecting what to build next... <p
You don't find it annoying when you put up something for trade and its perceived value is 200 so you hit the "50" gildar button 4 times only to find out you're now 200 gildar over so now you have to hit the "-50" gildar button twice to even it out?
I can 1-UP the OP. I conquered a city and it had 100% unrest. Nothing can be produced. They're just trying to slow down us warmongers.
I didn't know I had a bad enchantment on my city until I tried to build something. Are there other visual cues that I'm missing? If not, could we make it easier to spot a bad enchantment visually? <img class="embeddedObject" src="htt
Hi mqpiffle, can you give me an example? I'll give you one. If I want to trade 10 crystal and the AI values that crystal at 1 crystal = 6 gildar, then when i put 10 crystal in the window, the perceived value will read 60. Unfortunately, the AI is also valuing gildar at 1 gildar = 2 gildar, so when you add 60 gildar, the AI side now reads 120 perceived value. That's stupid. The 10 crystal's perceived value should have just read 120 on my side in the fi
I've never understood why Gildar sometimes trades at 1:1 and sometimes 1:2. I understand why all the other resources trade at 1:x, then we use gildar to make up the difference so it doesn't make any sense for gildar to trade at 1:2. <img class
I'm absolutely loving the new tactical battle maps. I love the maps. I love the new combat abilities. I love that sometimes we start right out on top of each other. I love that sometimes we are randomly spread out across the battlefield. Keep up the great work!
