I play on the difficulty where the AI first starts to cheat a little (one step past Challenging; "Hard", I think?) and have never seen an immediate declaration of war by the AI. On the contrary, unless their faction power rating is substantially higher than mine, I find them rather sycophantic - even if they're from the opposite Kingdom/Empire alignment, our relations tend to drift upwards and never come back down, no matter what I d

1. I don't play on Expert, but it is the same on Challenging too. 2&3 Agreed. 4. I haven't noticed this, but wouldn't be surprised. There is something wrong with savegames. It seems, that certain game states are not saved properly. 5. Works fine for me. The turn, in which you cast Tremor, is already counting against the time the spell lasts. The spell description should make this clear, but maybe it could be worded a little better. At the end o

Agreed. I've never seen it do anything. The description isn't helpful either in determining what the Warden should affect. Does it only work on low level monsters? Or monsters rated Weak? Or non-Wildland monsters? None of it is clear.

If quests in your game still require you to research a tech to unlock them, then you are most likely using an outdated custom sov and/or faction. That has been the case every time someone had this happen. If that isn't working in your case, then I'm at a loss as to what the problem could be.

Could you be a little bit more specific? Under what circumstances are you seeing this? What are your system specs? As is, this post isn't very helpful in finding the problem. I've never seen the mouse flicker, nor anyone else reporting it. The only thing, that comes close to this, is the mouse stuttering when trying to select multiple units.

You need to return to the starting location to finish the quest. The blade needs to be in you inventory, not as an active weapon, or the quest will not recognise that you have it, for some reason.

It's the Academy of Revelations: "The Academy of Revelation increases the Research produced by in all your cities." This is the case in both CoreImprovements.xml and CoreAbilities.xml. The Tenfell University also has a typo in the CoreAbilities.xml: "Tenfell University keeps this city's Unrest from effecting Research." Should be either "affecting" (I think) or "reducing".

They can never become 'full' mages.
If you have Pariden in your game, you can buy Spellbooks from them, as long as they have researched the tech and you are not at war.

Still, I can understand your reasoning now. For map-making and object-creation this really doesn't work. For the rest of the game, however, I stand with my original comment.

They are supposed to be bad at certain things at challenging and below.
No, challenging is the best AI without cheating. It is supposed to be on equal footing with the player (neither side gets any bonuses or penalties). Once you go above challenging, the AI just gets bonuses to HP, resources, traits and so on, but the algorithms used are the same.

(yes that is your high level stacks) With bonuses the AI stacks gets insane. If you actually make some units with the LH, they will play better and be harder to fight at higher difficulties. And for reference, the Doom Hammer is better since the cumulative bonus keeps stacking out of combat. (not sure if this is intended or not)
What abo

So far, I've seen a total of three weapons with scaling damage in the game (Lightning Hammer plus a bow and a spear that only appear as loot drops and seem to be pretty rare). I think offensive scaling should be the rule, not the exception. A level 30 unit has a lot more HP than a level 1 unit. Why shouldn't it also inflict more damage? IMO, a unit's overall strength should be primarily a function of its lev

Agreed. The Lightning Pike also had scaling damage originally (don't remember, if it was +1 or +2 per level), but it got changed eventually, because it was just OP. Why the Lightning Hammer was left unchanged, however, remains a mystery to me.

I've seen this too. AI building cities on resources, river and swamp tiles, and quest locations. Same thing with outposts. A while back, there was a post explaining a possible reason for this and similar behaviours of the AI. Certain game features (like settling and razing cities, building outposts, etc.) seem to be regulated by the UI. The AI, however, has no access to the UI, which means, that it doesn't get told, that it can't do this. I have no idea, if there is any tr
I know it's 5 tiles, but I had to look through several websites, and forums to find how many tiles was the minimum...
I agree with the suggestion, but this part isn't quite accurate. The limit is based on map size. 5 tiles for tiny maps, 6 for small and medium, and 7 for large maps. 1) If you mean, that the cutscenes should only end when you click a mouse button, then I agree. This has been reported before , and I still agree with it. It worked during the beta, but some time during the last beta and the release it changed. In the meantime, you can use the alt key as a workaround. It will stop the cutscene, allowing you to finish reading the text.
