There seems to be something wrong with the wage-calculation. I'm currently paying 0.2 Gildar even though it should be only 0.1 Gildar. This is from the start of the scenario. I haven't yet tested, if this happens in the regular game, too.
Gaunathor
Noticed this, too.
Well, I'm not really good at this, but I give it a try, because it is a special occasion: Congratulations on the release, Stardock-Team, and a big Thank you! for all your hard work and dedication over the last couple years! I really hope that E:FE will have the success it deserves! Speaking of "deserving", I originally planned to give you a cake as a present for the occasion. However, I ultimately decided against it, because my cakes are just of average quality (it also
1. Do you feel monsters act too randomly? Yes. I never know how the monster will react to my presence. This is especially jarring in the case of intelligent and/or highly territorial monster. 2. Do you feel like early game monsters are too powerful? No. The monster distribution seems pretty decent in my games. This has been much worse in previous betas. 3. Do you feel like the Faction AI is getting a free pass with monsters? Yes. The AI does lose units, ci
The Warrior Temple only grants +1 to the starting level of trained units and +2 to the initiative of city defenders, whereas the War College grants +2 and +4 respectively. In addition to this, the War College also grants the Enmity trait to trained units. This makes the Warrior Temple look like a weak copy, while having the same build-cost as the College. Correcting the above values and maybe granting the Bloodthirsty traits would help balance this out.
Well, I spoke to soon. My old PC just shut down. [e digicons]:([/e] The PSU really is the source of the problem. Maybe not the only one, but definitely a contributing factor.

Thanks for reminding me. The PSU is currently in my old PC and seems to be working fine. We will see for how long. I'm starting to have my doubts, that it is truly the culprit. I had an issue similar to this years ago, that turned out to be a heat sink that had just barely come loose from a chip (wasn't the CPU) on the motherboard.
Thanks, I'm going to check this, too!
Could also be excessive dust/dirt causing graphic card or cpu overheating.
The last time I cleaned the PC was just four months ago, but dust is collecting quite rapidly in my apartment (despite my efforts), so it is a good possibility. I was playing the new E:FE-beta yesterday and suddenly my computer was shutting itself off. This kept happening no matter what I was doing. Reading the forum, playing the game, once even during booting. This morning, the computer even refused to start. I tried it again a few hours later and it worked. However, I'm using my old (5+ years) PC until this problem is solved. My main guess is, that there is something wrong with the PSU, but I'm not entirely sure. It's a Enermax
no thats incorrect. Road building is also available to path of the governor heroes who get the ability.
Not exactly. There are two possible ways of getting the Road building ability. A rare Path of the Governor trait and the Pioneers of the Mancer race. The OP asked specifically about the ability for Pioneers.
Also, road building for Pioneers ist still not avaible sometimes.
Road building is only available for Mancer Pioneers. Mancer is the race of the Capitar faction.
Still happening in 0.983.
Maybe i am a bit dense, but shouldnt be gildar income be 6 after 4 gildar taxes applied?
The new tax-system works like a simplified income tax (taxable income x tax-rate = taxes). City Gildar is the taxable income and Gildar is the amount of taxes you get.
I can't see anything wrong here. City Gildar is 10 (6 (Town) + 4 (Propaganda)) and Gildar (taxes) is 4 (10*40%).

I tried to use Deadly Bite against an Ophidian, but it didn't work, because the Ophidian was "immune". Something similar happened in a previous battle, too. The Dark Wizard managed to "resist" the Deadly Bite.
Continuing an old savegame with a new version is in general not a good idea. This can easily lead to new bugs and unexpected behaviour. It is best to assume, that new versions are not compatible with old saves. Also, you should move this thread to the support forum. Here is the guideline for reporting bugs. Greetings from Nuremberg!
