Youngling refers to age, Padawan refers to Jedi rank. The two are not mutually exclusive
Yes and no. Youngling is a species-neutral word for child, but it's also used within the Jedi Order as an unofficial title, referring to a Force-sensitive child undergoing the early stages of Jedi training. When a Jedi becomes a Padawan, they are no longer a youngling. Note that this doesn't apply to the New Jedi Order, as there's no age

Of course, this wouldn't be actual "Stargates", it's just a work name so people know what we're talking about. We never did get Stargates for GalCiv2, for a variety of reasons, and it wasn't something that you could mod in either. What I'm talking about it long-range instant teleportation between two set points, two "wormholes" or "teleportation gates", for entire armies. Their use is simple - to cut down on transports. The bigger a game is, the greater the odds that by the ti

Reply to population in WOM Ideas

Also, remember that you need population to make units. If you make an army of 1000 men (supposedly, that's a very real possibility), you'll loose 1000 men from that city. Also, big cities will take a huge amount of space, seeing how every time your city goes up one step, you'll physically expand to an additional square.

Since we currently know almost nothing about the game, our speculation isn't really useful since we can't know how it would work with the other parts of the ga
Galciv2 suffers from the same problem where one turn is one week. This basically means you can go from an early spacefaring civilization to the ultimate technology and Ascension in only a few years; but since this is Sci-fi it's somewhat more acceptable (who really knows how future technology progresses). Population growth is also quite an issue in Galciv2 for the same reason (billions of people popping up in mere months). Galciv1 was better in this aspect with one turn being one
