Afaik, last I heard (keep in mind that I'm not as active as I used to be) there'd be no LAN. All multiplayer will take place on Stardock's servers. On the number of players, I'd say that multiplayer with anything less than 8 players would just be strange.
Was it ever uphill?
Pie-eating contest. 'nuff said.

Ha. That's funny. Because I haven't seen anything on L4D2. :D
You know what this forum could use? Spoiler tags. I've got so much to say about how great this game is, but I can't say it, out of fear of spoiling someone. I almost daren't read the other comments so far. Game is great. Loving it.
As an avid RPG-gamer, I feel like facepalming half this thread. Also, for a personal favourite: Planescape: Torment.

Did anyone else find the # of background stories to be lacking? Or was that just a limitation of the stand-alone char creator? I did find them extremely lacking, yeah. Especially with the mage origin being shared between elves & humans, meaning (to me) that the humans only really have one origin. Again, I wish that th
Didn't see Fall from Heaven 2. If you haven't tried it. Do so.
But oh so painful.
We absolutely positively need one of these.
I've been on this streak of short, concise replies for a while now, when I'm actually here. It'd be a shame to break that. Welcome.

I kinda like it, in it's own right. It's Stargate from a different perspective. It's still Stargate, but it's.. new. I really like it, for some reason. I'm going to have to see more episodes (seen all 5 so far) before I make a final judgement. It's sorta been one crisis to the next, right now. Let us see if they can keep it fresh somehow. For those interested, I've compiled a list on the official forums. We're at 16 items and counting. So I again raise the question. When does "extra" or "optional" become just that? Is it when it's 20 items? 30? 40 or more? [quote who="Coelocanth" reply="71" id="2418587"]Not sure of your point, Luckmann. The extra here is The Stone Prisoner. I like having a multitude of races. But I prefer if there's only one species.
