Or was that just a limitation of the stand-alone char creator?
I did find them extremely lacking, yeah. Especially with the mage origin being shared between elves & humans, meaning (to me) that the humans only really have one origin. Again, I wish that the Human Commoner origin woul
I find the OP's suggestion insinuative, derogatory, discriminating, and sexist.
One of our newer developers, Raa00, is also female. She's going to be graduating in December and then she'll be full time here. And we just hired a female artist. It's rather cool n

There really should've been at least one more mage origin for elves, that being the one of a Dalish elf, as well as the originally planned Human Commoner. I feel like there's only really one human origin with the other one being so rigidly set in class. Second doubts is part of the hyping process for me. I keep tossing and turning and wind myself up. Even though this thread has been somewhat derailed into the DLC realm, I just wanted to state that my problem was never with the DLC itself, even if I think that they could've handled it classier by releasing it a month from now - or somesuch. Right now it feels like they finished the game months ago and haven't really been doing anything else, other than working on the DLC and waiting for the consolization work to finish. And that just sucks. They should've been polishing the
So what's everyone going to play? With the character creator out (even with the bugs) and the game about two weeks away it's time to start getting a bit hyped up and consider what you're going to play. First I was thinking a etnocentric Dalish Elf, Rogue->Ranger, but there doesn't seem to be that many elven followers and I have no idea if the ones that are are Dalish or Alienage elves. I'm thinking "the elf that is still elf" and want to rise up against the humans, etc. Elves are,

Microtransactions in a subscription based game, you ask? Yeah, which is why they want to call it somet

I'm thinking "Wow, this guy endured 40 hours of GTA IV" . That seems to be the only tangible feat and apparently others are agreeing with me. It's not that he played a game for 40 hours. It's that he played GTA IV for 40 hours.
What's so special about GTA IV? There's plenty of gamers that have played plenty of games plenty of times longer than 40 hours.
... No. Just.. no.

I agree with the suggested game mode, as long as it auto-saves every single round both at the beginning and the end of a turn. But perhaps more importantly, don't make the AI better for the Ironman or Hardcore mode. You'd be artificially constricting the availability of said AI, making a lot of people that don't play Ironman/Hardcore unhappy - including me.

I'd like to see both. My preferred method would be to have mass quantity of sub-par troops, with a few very strong quality troops supporting them.

It wouldn't. If I knew my destiny and that was truly my destiny, it was probably my destiny to know it beforehand. Destiny is unchangable. Constant. I couldn't possibly change it, unless the destiny I was shown was a lie - in which case it doesn't matter, anyway. What if you were God?
A lot of people say "Oh, those small things doesn't really matter in the big game. There's other items that are better.". That's not the point! I'm sure that most of this stuff is stuff I'd never be using for my main character, even if I'm sure that most of it would see use in a game, with multiple party members. The point is that it's a constant annoyance that I don't have access to it, simply because of a marketing scheme! I want to play the game on release day just as much
