[...] Sovereigns will get the opportunity to get married. Once married, they will, for a period of time, be able to have children. Will we be able to have several wives, thus siring several offsprings at any one time?

Can we, in a misguided effort to keep the ruling bloodline pure, practice inbreeding? Because that'd be awesome and disturbing at once. Awesomely disturbing.

Will we be able to practice postive and/or negative eugenics? Actually, that question shouldn't just be a matter of the dynasties, but on your society at large.

Especially during public TV events (doesn't beat porn during the Super Bowl though [e digicons]:P[/e] ).
In the U.S, you can have SAW-like scenes with zombies eating the eyes out of unsuspecting victims, but you can't show a little skin. In Germany, you can have full frontal nudity or basicly hardcore porn,

I'm going to go ahead and bump this thread right now, since a similar discussion just cropped up. December 10th, 2008? Wow, it has really been that long?
Does Australia also have some sort of ban on marketing Nazi memorabilia or exceptions to free speech rules that let cops shut down neo-Nazi marches and rallys?
No, but they (just like Germany also have) have some serious laws about blood and sex in videogames, afaik. As far as I know, they have no political censorship laws. But on the other hand, I'm not an Aussie.
I've always tended t

I'm going to assume that this guy (Michiel van den Bos) is the guy (it even says so in the article, but I never fully trust wikipedia). If that is so, just let me go WOW . Whilst Unreal/Unreal Tournament soundtracks never really stuck in my head, and I haven't played Overlord enough (and never player Overlord II), Age of Wonders stands out as an amazing soundtrack. In particular, h

As much fun as that would be, that'd quickly make the game illegal in Germany whenever you played with me. [e digicons]^_^[/e]

And you.. just noticed that? Wasn't that in a list of "This is the notable stuff I've worked on" or discussed when you hired him? Isn't it, like, your job to know this stuff? [e digicons];P[/e]

That paintbrush option could persuade me to get one of those boards, since I'm actually absolutely horrible at free-form with a mouse. Edit: And by "those boards" i meant to say "One of those painter-computer-board things". I honestly have no idea what they're called.

Looking over some of the other vids that CS5ORG (the Youtube User) has up, I'm hesitant as to wheter or not this is real. It's just too good to be true . If it is true, I may actually try to buy Photoshop this time around. Because this is just amazing. I remain hesitant, though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgKjs8ZjQNg (On an unrelated note, what are

I kinda liked ICS, and would've probably loved to see enormous super-cities that build into eachother in Elemental, but alas, all things such and such. C'est la vie.

I'm personally a fan of tech-trading, especially if one faction have techs another faction otherwise cannot have. The problem in GalCiv2:TotA as I saw it was that the AI didn't value unique techs or put those unique techs to any real use. There should be a healthy mix of untradable unique techs based around the culture and race of a faction, and tradable unique techs that are highly valuable to anyone not of that faction to begin with.

I like this idea, but I'd like to single out a specific point in the original post.
[...] Treat cities as RPG-characterlike entities. [...]
I'd like to say: Treat everything as RPG-character-like entities. The nations, the cities, the sovereigns. This is a bit of a shameless self-plug, but I think it'd tie nicely into my thread on national traits.</

There's not much to do when you can't place your foot ANYWHERE without stepping on a mouse. I'll confess. I would likely completely panic when first faced with the threat of a mouse invasion.
