No Civ 5 for me either. Who needs it with Elemental anyways...
Me. Different games. Is Elemental going to have hot-seat multiplayer? Earlier Civs had, so i think that Civ 5 will have it too. Which is important, playing with a friend is very fun. The Internet makes playing too... well, can "impersonal" desribe this? Even if Elemental does have hot-seat, Civ5 is still going to be very different

From Brad's groups, i belong to 1 but i still use Steam anyway (dislike Impulse too but i use it also). Crysis/Warhead just happened to be so cheap there i didn't see reason to buy them from elsewhere. So i ended up using Steam despite saying sometimes that i won't ever use it. Principles are easy to break. As far as i'm concerned, UPDATES ARE A REQUIRED THING. I never play a game without updating it first, or looking for a fan-made patch and using one if possible (though if such
I have no problem with rushing or countering it. But i simply hate it. It's a phase of the game but since it happens every friggin time, either me or the enemy rushes. I can't remember any time when neither rushed... Really, the bigger problem with SC2 is that i don't like the units. And that the game's always seem to have same units, as if the game had not enough units, no variety. I like the Terrans most i think, due their gameplay but... Thor is overlarge Goliath, not interesting.
Okay... SC2 multiplayer is not my thing. Don't like how units are massed. Don't like the units themselves. Don't like how damn repetive the game is. For some reason i do like FPS multiplayer games (Well, console ones, Halos mainly, BFBC2) despite them being repetive too. I hate the practice league (after the profile wipes, i'm playing them again. Don't want to skip them since they're on normal speed and Fastest is way too fast for me) since the "novice" maps are horrible. What's the p
Laptop cleaned... your's filled with dust or something, Twilight? I have to clean the air vents pretty regularly on my laptop or it start to heat up... well i guess everyone has to. BTW, if my laptop's screen goes suddenly (and randomly) white and only way to get rid of it is to restart it, is there something wrong with the graphics card or maybe overheating? I'm immune to charisma. What does that make of me? Hmm... Raven's story reminded me.. should i back-up my stuff regular
... I liked WoW. And i do still, somewhat. I shall see whether i'll be back when Cata comes. But this? Dunno what to say... paying 25$ for a virtual mount that is not even cool? /facepalm I would never buy that... I might buy some small DLC, i've done it, as long as the price's very low. But this... no just no.

And certainly not in Helsinki, it's all even.. Hmm. I wonder how long it will take before Apple makes another iPad, and whether it'll actually address all the weaknesses of the current iPad. Non-replaceable battery, no flash, no multitasking. Those are the biggest issues right?
Yeah, sure, Apple sounds worse than MS. But as i said, i have too much money ATM. Need to use it for something... It's no good sitting there and doing nothing :P And preferrably i'd use it for something i can use for something useful, rather than games i play for a week and then forget them. Short attention span nowadays o.O ANd yeah, that lack of multitaskin is a bit meh but i realised after writing my post that we're going to use 4th edition, so no SRD. Erratas etc. i co
Interesting... what happens if i remove the iPhone from iPad? But now seriously. I'm thinking of buying the iPad. Got too much money. My home PC is actually a laptop, a laptop that never leaves it's place since it's a bit too big to carry around when visiting friends and such. But the iPad seems to be right size... and i have a feeling it'd be a nice device to have while PnP RPGing. All the notes there, character details, and easy access to Internet in case i need to check something f

I gave the demo a try, then on my birthday, uh, a few years ago almost exactly, i bought it while in some shop. Again, one game i don't really play much. Why would i want to see all the subforum threads too? I go to them if i'm interested in those. Going through forums normally is fast enough for me.
Update's up, in case someone wonders. I hope this build is actually playable for a few hours at least...
What's the frigging point of the device? What does it do?
In SC2, you can select 255 units at a time... answered a couple of years ago. However, the UI shows only some 24 units at time, though there are pages on left side of the unit wireframes...
Hour's worth of vids? No thanks, watching* 2 minute vid is hard enough already . I belive it can be useful, actually i did use it for a good effect (note that i'm bronze/copper player really, and i certaintly don't aspire to getting higher). Just that there ain't much AOE in SC but very large armies... Though i'd say the lack of AOE is not the cause. There was some post how AOE is nerfed and reduced in SC2 compared to SC. *watching something is too passive for me, can't concentrate.</
I lack micro and multitaskin needed for casters. True, you can switch beetween the unit types but that's "unstarcraft-like" so i forget it. More practice *shrug* And yes, Archons need to be made useful... and i wouldn't mind Psi Storm getting a buff too. Haven't found any real bugs (that haven't been reported yet)... very stable, veru well optimized game. And looks good too, with low-med settings.
DAO development took like 4-5 years (can't remember exactly when it was ANNOUNCED). The game's content was locked down last spring, before E3 i think. The rest of the year was spent on polishing and testing etc. A month or so is needed for printing copies etc. Awakening has likely been in development since autumn or so. Even if DLC and expansions are done by a smaller team, i don't think the rest can make DAO2 within 1.75y. Sure, there's likely to be enough story material and
It doesn't matter what game or genre, a "resource" bar will be inevitably called "mana" and the abilities that use a resource are called spells. Starcraft is a perfect examply. Technically units have energy and abilities (psionics) yet everyone, including devs, talk about mana and spells. Mass Effect universe doesn't have magic... but gameplaywise biotics fill the role of magic (like the Force in Star Wars) and so biotic abilities can be called spells. I don't see much differe
Sounds good. I might buy it this weekend. Is there a demo to try the game?
Nope. There WAS... in Feb. It was then shut down. Stupid decision if you ask me. If you liked Battlefield [Insert number/place here], and you've got no problem with modern weapons and lack of true artillery or planes, i'd say you're going to like this. There are too few maps though... Don't buy this as a single player game, it is not.
The game's fun is in destruction. The story sucks. It could have been good, but it is not. Stupid twists, very anticlimatic... And no, you can't play as EDF. There's a few EDF skins for MP though. The campaign is all right if you forget the story, open world adds some replayablitiy to the missions. Cheats that are unlocked by playing through the game are fun occasionally. Don't bother comparing the Red Faction to Palestinians or anything. They're anarchists who want to bee free of a p
WTF? The forum ate my post. Or maybe moderators did. Unlikely that though. I blame forums. So... a new one. EDIT oh... "Forums restored from backup"? Didn't notice untill after pressing submit. Sounds are good but the echo effect irritates my ears, as i constanly, without pause hear something. During long sessions, this
Anyone playing this on 360? How's the game on 360? My laptop ain't gonna run the game too well. Are there any aircraft? Would you recommend the game if one loved the original BF42? As i said earlier, i liked the way it looked a trailer but lack of demo (anymore) drove somewhat off. Halo3's getting bit old... and i've got nothing to do in MW2 anymore (prestige doesn't appeal, maps are too camping oriented). Of course i'm getting to Halo Reach beta later... but that's later and
Hmm, i read that the limit was raised in patches/expansions. Or are mods only things to do that?
I watched today a trailer of BFBC2. Started checking whether there's a demo... frigging thing's ended already. And no SP demo. That's one lost customer. I loved original BF, i have BF43, that was pretty fun for a time being but didn't have enough maps. Well, maybe not quite lost... if i get to play the game somewhere. The problem is, "somewhere" is gonna be hard to find... friend's don't have, nor interested, shops i visit don't either have consoles for testing (you know, in f
