and i wouldn't mind Psi Storm getting a buff too.
Not really needed. Take a look at this video (and the 4 followups) and how good psi-storm can be if used properly. (Also, one hour long SC2 game is epic. :D )

Btw. take a look at this video to see how awesome a good pathfinding algorithm can be. The zergling swarm looks like one big organism and it just looks great. Now, if we compare that to the pathfinding in the other SC2 game, Supreme Comander 2, it's easy to see who got the better code monkeys. ;)

Suppose there's a critical situation where two players want to move to a square before the other does. Is it just who's fastest to click when the new turn starts?
Usually yes. Iirc you in Civ you could be inside a city while the enemy conquered it in simultanious mode, which lead to a crash. [e digico

(Following is imo of course.) Considering that 'bout 80% of all written fantasy is crap (no, it's not only badly written, or cheesy, or boring, it's just really baaad) and game stories and especially books inspired by games are most of the time even worse... ... we willl see. Nevertheless, grats for finding a publishing deal, that's always something to be happy about. :)
How much mana do I have? I have no idea how much casting my Sovereign can do. Give me an hourglass of Mana or something please!
Aye the UI is currently very weak in general, but a mana indicator is allready in. If you look at the portrait of a selected unit, around it's circle is a blue line on the left and a green one on the right, blue being mana and green being health. There are currently way too many popups when you've researched something anyway imho. Also, I still want them to switch the position of the "continue" and the "new goal" buttons. Imho it's counterintuitive when the continue one is on the left instead of the right. :)

You need tax offices to get money from taxes. Also, most likely you're losing that much money from roadbuilding. It's currently very expensive to build multiple roads at once.

Well, I hope they'll eventually change the behaviour of units in cities to the one in Civilisation series. Ie. you can move through cities and in and out of cities at will, without having your units stationed there instantly.
If the mine is far from town how do you get to mine it? I have not played this game a lot and I think I am far behind. Any help would be appreciated.
Currently you can't. You need to snake out your city to resources to build gathering buildings there. But the plan is to eventually allow resource gathering buildings to be built a bit outside of cities in a next update or beta. Btw. you can't really be far behind, since a lot of stuff just
