Let's just label him an anti-Semitic communist terrorist fascist neo-nazi traitor and call for his assassination. That I think, is the most impartial and fair way to deal with this. We just have to try to remain neutral and unbiased when labelling people for the purpose of defamation and discrediting. @homeyulmie I disagree with what you have said, and therefore I hate you and want you dead. Your communist rhetoric fills me with dread, you sour my milk,

Anyways, the reason I consider him dying perfectly acceptable is because if I was running a country and he leaked classified documents of any kind about my country, well that constitutes a threat to national security. Killing him would be the most efficient means of dealing with said threat. Of course, I do think that the definition of rape b

You've made one thing clear to me that pretty much settles the entire discussion. You aren't interested in the moral or ethical side of this. What Julian did is technically illegal, and so (to you apparently) that trumps all the disgusting corruption that was uncovered, and all the callous, immoral and reckless activities of the U.S government, and all the humiliation, rights deprivation, torture and death they have been party to. Of course, this is the same government that made the law which
Thanks for the links guys! It seems VGA Trek is more commonly known as Visual Star Trek. I took a look, and sadly - not it. [e digicons]:S[/e] From what I remember of the game though, it didn't really include much (if any) space exploration. It was more about handling problems onboard. But as I said, my memory is a little shaky on that (I would have been about 10 years old when I played it). What I do know however, is that I will recognise it as soon as I see it. Hope

Well, perhaps because I had such high expectations, and it had some of the same cast from the first Merlin. Could just be my disappointment talking.
istari, what you describe sounds SO much like the EGATREK/VGATREK that I think they are what you are trying to remember, and I think that there was a cga grade version that might have been called TREK. did the game have square grids at local AND long range that the ship jumped/moved around on? harpo
I've had a look at EGATrek, and I can confirm that it is not the game I
Some more memories are coming back to me. The primary colour that stands out to me for the game screens is cyan. I also remember that there was this alien creature that would normally report events to you. Also, you'd go from room to room in the spaceship in order to handle different things.
Definitely not a Star Trek game, and certainly not Wing Commander. It is quite similar to EGATrek, and that's a lead I'm currently following.
I've remade some of the MoM music for the up and coming MoM MOD. It makes it easier to pretend that you're actually playing a remake of MoM.

I'm with Sethai on bringing back essence. I like how it makes you choose between sacrificing personal power or keeping it to yourself. Again, it gives you a chance to be like Sauron, or even Galadriel in what she did to preserve Lothlorien. I also agree that the current imbue option is a cheaply exploitable cheesewedge. But I have an idea that might kill these two birds with one magic missile. Create unique and interesting heroes/champions ala MoM. (i.e. someone whose s

I've been going nuts trying to remember this really old game I used to play on my Tandy 1000SL back in 1990-1994. Basically, you are the captain of a spaceship that seems to run into trouble quite a bit. Your responsibilities include managing navigation, piloting, defense, attack, engine problems, hull problems, staff, etc. I could be shady on some of the details, because it's been a while. I remember a sense of urgency as you had to go from problem to problem and manage well
MoM, Galciv II, NWN 2, but very little of any of them. Mostly I just play with my dick smith collection of interesting gadgets.

Age tried to creep up on Chuck Norris. But as you'd expect, Age got a swift roundhouse kick to the face. Nobody creeps up on Chuck Norris.
I'm also playing a game where I'm in a peninsula. I've managed to get 4 cities in, and a harbour so I can send out ships a-scouting. I have to trawl through mountains and thick forests to get anywhere (really slowly), but it's given me an opportunity to consolidate my power, and put up a real bottlneck defense for any attacking armies. I'm currently ranked one of the weakest factions, but I'm in a position that affords me some time to remedy that. My only problem at the moment? Food.
