So many ideas on essences and they all have one thing in common. They're all better than the current model, imo anyway. I don't see another great idea which I read somewhere in these forums. This idea was based around the model that casting certain spells would weaken the caster. While I do believe some spells should actually lower your max essence (these would have to be extremely powerful and ubber) I dont like how theres many that just flat out gimp your caster permanently. I like the idea of Inns not dissapearing, it would make them more valuable since you would want to control the output of quests from a given Inn. I would also like to expand on this idea by saying that Inns could work like the current Shops in our cities. You step on top of the Inn and in your action bar get a "Enter Inn" button which if you press, opens up a screen showing the inside of the Inn. There you could see a bartender and shady looking characters that if you mouse over them displays

Correct me if I'm wrong but you want a "Play Now" option like in civ 4 right? Incredibily enough I have civ 4 and never played using this, I always go straight to custom game to add a buncha civs and play with the settings. Regardless of that, having more options can't be a bad thing!

But thinking about it I don't think it would be a big deal if it did or didn't cost a tile since after a city levels up you would always have at least 1 free tile to put this up. This is all hypothethical though unless they somehow like the idea lol.

So I was thinking up some ideas for possible talents for champions and me and my brother just kept going and going with new ideas, theres so much potential to be unlocked! Greetings, I wanted to suggest changing the way City Level up bonuses are handled. I think the idea on a city leveling up and getting a bonus is pretty cool, but the current way of giving us this option is rather shallow. What I'm trying to say is that currently, you reach a new level with a city then you choose a bonus and thats it. There isn't even a way to tell that you actually have a bonus in that city or what that bonus even is. Edit1: Added link at the bott

I gotta say I'm very impressed. The performance from 3B to 3C for me has been incredible, just did 45 turns and there was no notable performance loss while in 3B I would get slowed down around 5-10 turns into a game. Amazing, keep up the good work!

Yeah me too, this has been around for a while, I reported it in this thread . Notification spam happens right after you load a game and you get a new notification. When you get this new Notification you get ALL the previous notifications for your towns, including the city leveling up and all the constructed buildings.

I tried several ways to reproduce this crash and the only way it happens is if I make the caravan enter the city after a tactical Battle. If I kill do the tactical battle first, then save and then load this game the route will be established without a problem. A confirmation box should be added in the diplomacy screen asking "Are you sure you want to declare war on X" instead of declaring war with one click in order to avoid declaring war by mistake. I've had this happen to me several times, but I got an error while trying to load. All these errors generated a .zip file with a dump inside, did you check your folders to see if you have this? Do you just hang while loading a save? Does it crash? I think you need to give a bit more detail in order to understand your problem.

Some goody huts are very vague and dont tell you exactly what you got, instead just gives you a random generic message. Ugh bad title but I didn't know how to word it exactly. Ok so I went to a humble Inn which according to the info card required a level 1 Adventure Level and upon entering I got the Wild Goose Chase quest which I chose to accept. When I right click to move my units they sometimes select the worse possible path instead of making the most out of their movement points, I hadn't made a post about this but its been around since 2A I believe. This isnt the first time its happened to me (usually after a newer Elemental Beta version is out) but when I click the Elemental Beta forums the site slows really slowly and when it finally finishes loading I can't see any posts aside from the stickies. I understand theres a higher traffic since lots of reports going out but I'm confused because I can see the recent activity that new posts are going up and I'm wondering if its just me and if there is something I can do to fix it.
