The blank texture/skin you are asking about is the UV Map Unwrapping that Kemoosi mentioned, I attempted it yesterday just to see if I understood the concept of doing it and I sorta got it to work. Once I work on the wings I think I could make that for you so you could do some skins for it. As for the wings I'm not exactly sure how to do them either, should I do them with a thickness or just a thin layer for the skins/textures? The base of the wings look

Did some more work on the "Draconian" today, and I gotta say I've learned quite a bit of stuff since I started doing it. The changes I made today was adding the hands, although I don't know why the goddamn thumb is giving me so much problems, also changed the legs a bit and the feet. Oh I also opened up the mouth but that needs some work too. I need some input though since I'm kind of undecided on the proportions, should I "buff" it up more? Is it too skinny? Too fat? Another sucker with a single core here as well xD. I don't mind waiting at all for a new game, the only thing that would make me sad is that I won't be able to test my own XML modifications as easily, so I guess I'll have to do various XML changes at a time xD. Or maybe I could do a really small map just for testing purposes, or loading games with modified XML files would update the loaded game (idk if this is even possible). Regardless of anything, looking forward to the 24th :D

I haven't really done any complex UV wrapping yet, the only time I did one was following a tutorial to add a Pepsi label to a can. Every other time I've attempted to unwrap something I run into some kind of problem, but I guess this will serve as motivation to actually learn how to do it effectively. Heres the smooth version of my model, for some reason I prefer working on it on the non-smooth version. My thoughts are "whats the big deal?", in MW2 you gun down marines, rangers, seals in multiplayer when your on the opposing team so? Also if you're going to take that kind of stance on killing in a video game you should probably be against violence in general, because it seems a bit hypocritical to be all mad because you can play as Taliban and kill coalition troops and on the other hand not mind when you play games that you constantly gun down "taliban like" opponents. WoW that is awesome, I love how you did the wings Keemossi. I'd vote for Keemossi's to be in :P. How do I know how much poly the game can handle? I don't even know how to check how much poly's my model is composed of :s... I'm using Blender 2.49 (which I love) and yeah the game's 3D assets dont seem to be high poly. Also there was something bothering me immensly about the pic i posted, and I finally noticed it didn't have a tail lol so I worked on it a bit more and added that :D.

I tried doing this with Visual C# Express 2010 (free version) and I couldnt get the "View Designer" to work. Yes please, I always use the terrain info and if it gets saved that would be 1 less click! Also dont get rid of it because sometimes forest tiles are not obvious and I usually need to do manual pathing because auto walking the pc runs all over the worse terrain and takes longer so terrain info is handy :>.

Yeah looking up non-champion units is a bit of a pain and I end up forgetting to move them many times. Asides from the ideas the OP suggests, there should also be a button that makes units that have a set waypoint automove, instead of having to press the end turn button to get them to move. A graphical way of seeing your armies and non-champion troops would be handy as well. The kingdom tree could be used for this, I was thinking maybe below the cities there could be a little grid tha
