NaytchSG
Such a niche weapon to begin with, and the scariest undead unit is immune to it! That IS evil!
"In the army/city context areas in the main game wnd, units now fill up with red based on how much damage they have taken" Love this! Really makes wounded troops stand out. Medic!! [e digicons]:waaaa:[/e] Haven't encountered any bad effects from the move through friendly units mechanic. Quite handy, so far...
Great points in this thread! And both Hawntah and Mistwraithe have great strategies that the AI factions could try pursuing, either as different AI personalities or as different strategies by the same AI at different points of the game. I would also like to see the Diplomacy improved to where I can gain in relations for returning a city to its original owner, or I can sell troops to another faction, or gift them a hero or item if I want. Or I can intimidate anothe

I will not spoil it for folks who just got the game, though. My understanding of the game is that the quests are set on quest hut creation- reloading a map before triggering the quest won't let players fish for a quest they want. As mentioned in the OP, this was the "demonic variant" of the p
Ring of Calling has a couple grammar problems. From the text (with corrections): The name has two meanings. For one it strengthens the wearer's summon spells. But it also causes them to hear echos from distant worlds.
And not to ding Lord Reliant if it is a typo: echos should be echoes btw how do i access the xml for LH? I looked in my usual FE spot to no a
I found getting all of the xml ducks in a row... challenging. Especially if you mislabel a spell icon pic and got a blank space in the spell book or in the army info window. Still confused about names as well... some of my units were named correctly others had _ between two words or other oddities. And I only did strategic summons, must be twice as much work to do tactical as well!! Look forward to trying them out, keep on plugging!
Soldier's Boots hero item: should be trudging... not truging.
0.95: Description of Defender on level 2 screen: Should be resilient, not resiltant. Also same screen: shouldn't it be Commander's strength...? with an apostrophe? Town Hall Research Completion text mentions faction prestige and there is no icon for the Produce Growth city production type.
Yeah, I wanted Death Ward for ordinary units at the strategic level. Can mod meself, but I think it would be good for the 1.0 version.
I would like to see them fly over water and other impassable terrain as well. https://forums.elementalgame.com/442630/page/1/#3341078 Parrotmath had come up with a workaround I can mod in later... but it would be nice to see in the regular game...
Dark wizards are dicks.
[e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:pizza:[/e] Any chance the Death Ward spell can be applied to a non-champion unit like Mausolos can do as an ability? Thanks!
All that Jello... and no gelatinous cubes?!?!? [e digicons][/e] Thanks to the Star Dock team for making great games and taking care of players!
Thanks for confirming, Manii! Parrotmath, every time I read your posts, I feel like the aliens who kidnap Geordi LaForge: Can you make us smart? We wanna be smart! [e digicons]^_^[/e]
I went to the spot on the map with a blue chest and the chest disappeared, but the quest is still active. Reloaded from a turn before the quest was granted and same result. Activated the quest, blue chest appears on map, move to on next turn and it disappears. Return to initial quest location just in case I missed something, and still shows as unresolved. Thanks.
A blink dog for life level 1? Give it blink, high dodge and +2 tactical regen but low attack (8). An annoying distraction for the enemy... Air 3: Storm Giant? Ranged lightning bolt every 5 turns, + 3 electrical elemental damage in melee. Possibly armed with a Thunder Hammer that can be looted (lightning hammer with modded in splash damage or knockback effect?).
I am a peaceful turtle (only build one of each type, or just a fortress if the starting tile yield god smiles on me), but when an AI declares war I grind them into dust and make them my vassal. I usually raze most cities I conquer unless they have unique buildings. I find the city building fairly tedious. I like to build the Great Mill in my fortress and then work on leveling my heroes and designing troops to take advantage of my available resources. I play challenging
I built a magma elemental awhile back by re-skinning a sand golem with fire elemental texture. Feel free to use anything you like: https://forums.elementalgame.com/440185/page/1/#3319443 I am too busy to fiddle with code for the foreseeable future, but am following your work here and the druid mod with great interest! p.s. dsraider made a fun mud shrill with a knoc
"This land is forsaken." the village elder says, "I have tried to form a village here, to provide care, safety and meal for the few that follow me. But we are little more than fatted calves for the bandits that hunt us. They consume more of our wheat than we do and eat more of our lambs. I have failed." "meal" can be changed to sustenance "They consume our wheat, slaughter our livestock. I have failed." is a better sentence imo...
Beastlord with life and earth magic? I would take brilliant, scholar and attunement and then not settle even an initial city. Could take some city negative traits and get even more positive picks. Make a Tarth-blood race with master scouts, lucky, wanderlust and archery. I played a game like this back in 0.85. Had quite a bit of fun. If they were to add a new line to the Mage trait with nature based summons and some nature
Nice write up! That Ongr quest is kinda annoying with the awesome sword that is useless to use {sigh} And like you said, you usually have to kill him (sorry about the Ascian quest). Now, if he joined you like Bacco... that would be awesome... just make him cost one horse or 2 wargs (or 3 pop [e digicons]}:)[/e] )a day.
A Water shrill casting chaos would be a tougher opponent than the ones that cast only slow. You could spice up Earth shrills with a chance to Bash opponents. Shrill Lords could be paired with Shrill Queens that hatch 2-3 new shrills a turn in melee [e digicons]}:)[/e] , this would be a tough fight unless you had successfully quested for the Orkin Hammer [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e] of Shrill Smiting.
Love your work, dsraider! Looking forward to this mod!
