Good! Cause I just got rusty greaves from two forest drake fights [e digicons]>:([/e]
NaytchSG
The way loot is calculated is very poor. No regard for creature toughness or logic. I would love to see troll shaman's drop rings, potions, stuff like that, while rusty stuff would be in a mite lair. Tilda herbs, healing potions, rations, ordinary low level weapons would be fine for darklings, wildlings etc. with a 10% chance of finding something amazing in a low level lair. Forest drakes, hoarder spiders and wildland bosses should be multiple ite
Great idea! And can we also have an option to have cities and units swear fealty to their new Lord /Lady? I hate it when entire civs just disappear.
It is very helpful. Now it would be great if a similar window could pop up for your sov or hero when you get an item.
Quoting Anelyn: "There is no option to trade / demand a city. There is no option to demand an AI to make peace with one of your friends / allies. You can't offer troops to support an ally." This would be awesome, like the Elven Archers showing up at Helm's Deep in The Two Towers movie (didn't happen in Tolkien, but still cool)!
I don't accept their overtures! I want the loot!! And I like stationing each Sov in a former city of theirs with some of their former troops I had silver-tongued [e digicons]}:)[/e]
quoting Azuani_ : "i think the "rations" item would work for that purpose. infantry with rations could have 3 moves on strategic map instead of 2, so even if you don't have mounts available or want to use mixed stacks or infantry armies, you wouldn't slow down the later game too much." That is a great idea! [e digicons]k1[/e]
Quoting animageous, reply 1 AI is wasteful of mana. In particular, it shouldn't use mana on fights where it doesn't need to. (In fights where AI power rating significantly exceeds enemy.) My question here is: does the AI *actually* have mana limitations? I was under the impression that it has as much mana as it feels like, since often when I go into the "Faction Relations" tab, they have their amount of
I have had four sovs become my vassals in my current game and even at the point of surrender, "my spirit is broken..." the option for a peace treaty still showed in the red by 250 gildar or so. They begged me for mercy a few times (still not offering loot, gold or a city to appease me) as I posted previously here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/441172/page/1/#3330337 But even whe
Also still getting the "your treaty you signed last turn is now expired message" bug.
"To leave a voice mail press 1, to demand their surrender press 2, to return to the main menu press 0"
So I made Ceresa my vassal, and start looking at her traits. She is a summoner and took Assassin as her class. Kinda gimped herself. She can get two Shadow Wargs. Maybe Summoner should get bonus summons that work with each school of magic if AI can't plan ahead? Also, the four AIs I conquered this game are still holding/buying extra wargs and extra venom sacs the AI should be cashing in for gildar. They are also not pri

Pretty easy to implement and it makes the mounted range or melee skill take up one of the three trait slots in unit design... I was trying to gather race-specific traits in this thread, but sadly no one seemed to have many ideas for it! I am really in favor of increasing the number of traits available fo
Quoting abob101, reply 7Even looking at Scholar which is now a profession. Does it make sense that you get +20% research when you conquer a faction and their beaten up Sov decides to reluctantly join you.... probably not. It surely does! Evidently, what happens is the brilliant scientists of that defeated nation fled the capitol when you brutally razed it to the ground. Displaced, disenfranchised, and with
I mean, I'm a Life Arch Mage fer cryin' out loud, I can heal my whole stack in and out of combat. Why can't this spell be used to protect my pet wolf? She's a good girl with a gorgeous set of teeth, it's just her hit points are a little low, especially when 3 shamans casting Coal Stones are on yon hillock. What's the point with heroes anyway? They get an injury or two, no big whup. Nothing a potion can't fix. [e digicons][/e] <
Now if only there were a third warlord in this game ... If you had a third warlord, you could build trained units as a source of income - who needs markets when your paid mercenaries instead pay you? I think you should go make a game with a bunch of custom factions, each of which are headed by a Warlord Sovereign. Who knows, maybe you could even get your troop upkeep costs down to -200%, where they are paying YO
Silver Tongue at 100 gildar is a bummer... and in the early to mid game virtually useless because of the high cost. Especially as it is only usable once a combat at present. Could it be 50 gold for first use, 100 gold in 5 turns? That would give it a bit more utility. And it would be nice to be able to use the ability on wildling shamans or similar presumably intelligent creatures. And another thought: Could half-ogre be a starting so
Well, I'd rally to the banner of the Sovereign who defeated the mighty Trog Warlord! [e digicons]:)[/e]
My sov gallops across the map, stuns the Lich Agonis and the bastid is still able to get his Despair spell off [e digicons]>:([/e] ... to add insult to injury he didn't lose a turn at all. I still took the un- out of his undead... but I didn't get the quest until a little later in the game. Would have been a TPK with a younger sov.
Noticed the caravans and totally agree on the upgrade screen.
Echoing korn469's thoughts about the minimap: Give me the ability to minimize the mini-map and the faction power screens on the main view, so i can glance at them for a second and then minimize them again. This will give me more room to see start of turn announcements. I know they can be toggled on/off but it is a pita. Re-size the victory/defeat summary screen so all units xp bars are visible at the end of battle without the scrol
Good ideas, Galactic Hunter. And alstein great thoughts on adding more traits for heroes/units to choose from. Pretty easy to implement and it makes the mounted range or melee skill take up one of the three trait slots in unit design...
I read in another thread the idea that horses and wargs could be an ongoing cost for a mounted unit: i.e you would need to spend 0.25 warg or horse (no, not a quarter-horse [e digicons]^_^[/e] ) per turn for a cavalry unit of 4. 0.33 for a unit of 5 etc. to reflect injured/aging animals. I could see if you fell into negative mounts, it could immobilize your cavalry units one per turn until you you regained the resource.
I think that means it will come out in 0.86, which should mean this coming Thursday. But answers like this show just how hard SD rocks! [e digicons][/e]
