Pretty sure they are useless, but not 100% sure.
Lord Xia
I thik the hiring cost of champions should be way lower. The level restrictions are good enough
I think you should get the same exp.
I think once they balance out heroes and troops a bit, this won't be as great of a combination.
Is anyone noticing anything strange about the AI sovs Gold? I played a game last night, proof of concept kind of game where to put Golem gear on a Juggernaut, where after 100 turns in Tarth has 15,000 gold while only on "Challenging" difficulty. I assume they are rushing troops, as they have nearly and endless supply, and after another 100 turns of me doing nothing but defending against endless stacks, they are down to 10,000 gold.
Why would they be incompatible? Seems like they should have strong synergy, and they do. It shouldn't let you get level 4 or higher heroes without the tech, and I don't think it does. As far as I can tell, it is working as designed. I don't understand why you would make this incompatible. You are using one of two slots for your nation for betrayers and a point from your sov, that's a lot. They are a strong combination, don&
I've changed my mind, the dragons are a bit thick.
Despair? Fucking Despair!!! Please say that Despair spell that the Dark Wizards cast got nerfed. It wipes out whole parties, troops and champions alike, often in one hit.
I like that the world can be destroyed by monsters. It probably can't, but they are something to be shit scared of. Had an ass ton of dragons last game. Lost a city to one, killed about 4, but they were thick. Fun [e digicons]:D[/e]
Nope, wrong. I'm an idiot, this is fine.
It's hard to know where to go with them. They need a big boost. If they were henchmen with out magic, that would work reasonably well. Or they would have to be changed in concept completely and be something more like a monster. But right now, they are terrible. Horrible. All things considered, the worst in the game, easily. Cost, research, survive-ability, utility, and power all add to the worst unit in the game. Right no
I don't get much out of summoner, I think it could really be good though, with the right build, I dont think it really needs changed. But noble seems pretty puny. I might be wrong on that, but it seems fairly worthless. I tried beastmaster once, but the no range and long casting time of it often got me killed trying to use it, it could be really good. I tore a game up getting a collar and a cave bear early. But bandit lord seems the weakest. <
They are the worst things in the game based on cost and ability.
I just tried it on hard, it's not that difficult, but I did get reckless and die. But it's not as hard as I thought it would be. The Krax blood and ability to fortify helps.
I think a no city challenge might be fun. I will try this on hard tonight myself. I feel that I would have to get lucky on a lot of things though for this to work.
He probably is the suckiest hero in the game, Wraith with weakness, what evil god(dev) would put something like that into the world? And then force him to the front lines! It's tragic...
I agree that if I am going to spend a point to get a special item, than it should be pretty good. But then, if they are too good, it can be very game imbalancing. I would like that the staff that I think the Oracle of Resolin starts with was also a ranged weapon.
we are fiddling with some things to try and address these issues
You have to save my archer hero Toby, please! He's a wraith with the weakness trait, low HP and can't wear heavy armor, he can't take these beatings anymore! Please Toby, help all the Wraith archers out there, save them! [e digicons]:pout:[/e]
I think it is still useless compared to: Warlock (+ 50 % spell damage), Armorer (+ 25 % defense) and General (+ 25 % xp).
Those are the ones I almost always pick!
Well then all I can say is, congratulations. You're really good.
lol, that's about the best response you can have to something like that.
Has anyone tried to use bandit leader for their Sov recently? The first time I used it, it was completely useless, but the last time I used it, it was only mildly useless. I was wondering if anybody thinks it's a good Sov trait? I was going to create a new faction tonight and wanted to try it out.
Quoting Lord Xia, reply 16High initiative tank? Armored mages? That seems silly that I would have to design my archers mages in ways that are so unthematic. To me it's ridiculous how untactical the tactical battles really are. I just want to put my tanks up front, I shouldn't have to have to walk around with my weakest units up front and then hope my heavily armored tank is fast enough to run in front
I've never seen this dagger. What is it now? Rare?
That seems more like a bug to me. They should get tower shields.
