Oops, yea, I meant not cheating. Although I do think there is something funny going on with their money (but they tend to run higher taxes than me) and the AI sovs do have far more level up traits than they should, but...I don't think they are cheating, just a bit buggy.
Lord Xia
They use to have a leather shirt and a patchwork leather armor, that was worse than the leather chest. It's probably in there somewhere still.
I'm kind of glad, I'm in the middle of a good game right now, and was debating on completing it or updating and getting my pony.
Yea, the AI is NOT cheating on challenging or less, I am watching Kraxis struggling with monsters right now. Actually, we all are, I had the entire center of my kingdom filled with 3 dragons(killed 2) and umberdroths(killed now) and Karavox has had at least two cities destroyed by monsters that I have been close enough to watch happen.
Healing items, even if it's just bread or meat can be life savers.
Also, too many of them are path of the mage with weakness. I feel like there are a million of these guys around, and they often don't even fit the description of the trog with the big battle axe that has lived by the sword...is a mage with the weakness trait carrying a big axe. Hmm.
The magic armor and items I described where from advancing in the tech trees of either warfare or magic. The "Athican" stuff you get from the wanderlust faction trait, and they replace the standard leather armor chest or the longsword, they are better, but not necessary Other items, like dodge bonus cloaks and things can be researched in the magic tech tree and unlocks. You have to have crystals to build troops with them though.
And you can make them Krax to get more bonuses. I love making nation builds in this game. I think up shit to try all the time.
Also, this helps all of your heroes too. And if you want you could take Armorer for your Sov and give a 25% armor bonus to them too.
I once created a nation with Wanderlust, Lucky and Guile, with no armor. It worked really well, but standard troops did suffer late game. But you want to play to your strengths. So increase dodge bonuses as much as possible. My standard unit had full leather with Athican leather chest, a round shield, and a Athican longsword with all the dodge bonuses I could muster. Now, I would also make a few with magic gear to add more dodge on it. They were v
I would love a set of magic armor that lies in protection between leather and chain, has very low weight and has bonuses or resistance built in. And a whole suit, not like just a chest piece. And a set of light magic chain would be cool. More magic armors that aren't batter in armor rating so much, as have something different to offer, less weight, resistances, that stuff. Like the Athican leather armor, but a full set.
Yea, Kael listened to our complaints and removed it! A just and mighty Dev, Kael.
I tried diplomat in a game yesterday. My first fight, it was resisted and couldn't use it again. I thought, this kind of sucks. Next three fights, it worked, gained three units of Tarth archers. Pretty handy. Not bad at all. Not super great, but it's a nice choice.
sometimes I have captured a city, but some of my army's troops are left outside the city and then are attacked and killed the same turn
Despair is the bane of most of my games. Unless you can kill that mage quick, despair will seriously hurt or kill everyone in your army. I've seen it do huge amounts of damage.
Maybe instead of a -25% attack and defense penalty, how about accuracy and dodge penalty instead? I still don't like it, but it seems less crushing. Or maybe just in enemy cities.
[quote who="LordTheRon" reply="6" id="3248210"] Quoting Lord Xia, reply 1-25% seems like a ton to me. I would prefer to give more defenders to cities and give them some more armor. But no ponies? Seriously you're happy with just one lousy pony. I agree fully here. The 25% bonus doesn't solve anything. In the end I think it even hurts the AI more than it hurts players. More defenders to cities with some armour would be a much better solution. I r
The trogg axe one isn't very good either. the 15 dmg axe that also has armor penetration is pretty good, but the one that replaces the greatsword, the 21 dmg one is actually worse than the sword it replaces. It does the same damage, but has backswing instead of counterattack, witch in my mind is worse. It probably weighs more too.

You have to go to your game files and delete them manually.
It's gone in FE.
Yes! Kickass Xia pony! 2 years of begging, totally worth every whine!
Wow, I have never once seen a 6 food.
He used dual weapons too. In game he had an off hand dagger that gave him an attack boost.
