I already know I'm an asshole.

You got it for free? Brad made me do things to get my copy. Terrible things...things that make me feel dirty, no matter how much I sit in the shower scrubbing and crying...
I bumped it.
Yea, the random name generator is pretty terrible. Heavenfall said that it can be modded in and mentioned it(and how to do it, I believe) in a similar topic made a few days ago.
It's a blood trait for Mancers. They have road building and that accuracy bonus. But the Road building isn't mentioned anywhere, it's super top secret! Don't tell no one.
The problem is that Gaelic has the tendency to be a huge asshole about everything.
Pretty fun workplace. Some of the employees look a little young, child labor laws?
The devs had said that dynasties can easily be modded in, I can't confirm it as i have never done it, but I have seen it posted many times, but those that have done it say it's buggy and incomplete. As for boats, I assume it could be modded in fairly easily too. But, I don't know shit for modding, I'm just parroting what other have said. but, I too would wish that these features would be re-introduced at some time, but I don't really feel like talking mor
See the peninsula leading from Yithril? Fell right off...
Would that be Mr. Gilbert Bates ?
Of course, Master Bates loves his good friend Beaver.
This map came with the Book and was playable in WoM, and I played it's dick off (that means a lot).
They just look like crap to me, they don't resemble anything remotely like a landmass. Just a weird square chunk of land with bizarrely shaped seas. I'm more of a RP'r, so seeing the landmass this epic story of my sovereign, Master Bates of the Kingdom of Spankalot, being all square and strange, loses some of it's imersion. Also, don't judge my Sov's name and faction...
Necro threading. I would like this map in game to be played. Or at least a western continent version like the east we have. Also, the unknown part of the map is Yoren. Just telling bitches what they need to know. And Polis isn't on this map either, it's at the sea near the river that flows from Athica. And Umber is Athos...I'm rambling. Ether way, I want more maps, as the premade ones are superior&nb
Has anyone tried setting the world difficulty above the AI difficulty and increasing the wildland density? That might give a more PvE experience? I generally like warring against other factions so I haven't tried this yet, but I might for variety.
Yea, the monsters eat the AI up. Yea, if you put it on dense with a lot of wildlands, the AI often can't expand and get's eaten up.
Yes, of course. If you use blindness on a lucky level 15 sovereign with discipline, he will still be hitting you a lot, especially if you are not using a high dodge unit. I find blindness a smidgeon too good now (it should expire in combat, after a few turns) but it is not a 'I win' button. It never was, really. Dodge used to be too good, now it's balanced.
Funny you say that, as this
Right, as far as I can tell, Influence has 3 special uses, henchmen, Silver tongue, and the City stealing betrayers ability I have never used. Henchmen I have talked about, and the Silver tongue abily comes with diplomat. To really get any use out of Silver tongue you have to have a source of influence income. One thing that Kraxis does seem to fail at, is they have extra abilities to use influence, without any real way to get it
I use a lot of blindness, but it's not an instant win, and some creatures who have high accuracy and initiative can still be tough even when blinded.
Yea, it sucks as the magic staves we have are balanced as to be used by a grouped unit, not an individual champion. I wish that the staves damage increased with path of the mage traits.
I would like both boats and dynasties back, I loved them, but I have been saying this for two years. I don't think the devs agree.
50, which is really high unless you have some trait like heroic to give you influence, then it's easy. Influence is a strange resource. If you need it, like with henchmen, you better design your faction for ways to get it, or you may never have enough of it to do anything. There are prestigious places that give it, and a few city improvements, but it doesn't add up to enough to count on to be able to build more than a few henchmen during the cours
The large wall you have seen is probably not an enemy AI, but a Wildland. Probably the master quest or Imperium. If you had a champ level doing nothing, they might be in a city that has a building that gives free experience in it. Shields, and magic belts that give dodge bonuses are good against archers. Also, simply armor as bows have a relatively low attack power. Also, mounted units with the charge ability can be helpful to get tot hose arc
No, there are standard builds that show up, like the bard, shieldbearer, etc. Also, if you play an empire race of Men, you can gie your death nation a little bit of life magic.
Shrink is a level 3 spell, and it adds dodge, while growth gives a -20 penalty to dodge. If anything we need to boost other spells to be better, not make every spell in the game marginally useful. Shit, I play many games with barely any magic used at all as it is, the more we nerf these spells, the less magical the game becomes.
The game did this at one point, and it became silly. Altar had Urxen troops, and silly shit. It would have to be done carefully. What I would want instead is that the factions simply had more default troops. Otherwise, you end up with everyone all having the same shit, and that's boring.
