The older I get, the more narrow my personal genre of games I enjoy becomes. I use to love all types of games, from platforms, racing, fighting, JRPG, etc...but now it's pretty much two categories, grand strategy and WRPG. That's pretty much it for me now. Or it was...until I started getting into indie point and click adventures and other indie titles, so if anything, I had already lost a lot of gaming desire, and indies brought some of it back.
Mine doesn't even show a number, it just says "Get a life!"
I wonder if the Iru have any special rules about eating things. I can't remember from the novel.
I think he meant that the fruit, having a lot of sugar, would be bad for diabetics. Not an allergic reaction, but to be fair, I didn't take too much time in reading any of it.

There is a building already I thought that gave trained units experience? Am I wrong?
[quote who="mywhiskey" reply="99" id="3267043"]Since you're working on custom factions, could you please fix the bug where your primary and secondary colors are not saved. On a random reload, the colors go back to default and stay that way for the rest of the game. Not only is it annoying for the current game but since we can't edit factions (like we could in WOM), we have to make a new faction if we want to replay that faction - altho the custom colors will not last a full game

Actually, that wouldn't make any sense at all. It is far more logical to kill the weak and use diplomacy to prevent the strong from killing you. Dogpile also makes sense: the A.I. has better odds of defeating you when you're already engaged in another war. A.I. sovereigns aren't auditioning to

It was a group, a pride maybe? Although a Murder of Umberdroths might be more accurate. It came from a wildland, and I think there was many as 6 in the murder. Yep, calling a group of Umberdroths a "Murder" from now on. Like I said, it happened in an old beta, and haven't seen it since.
Also, Mancers gain the ability to create units that can make roads. Road building is a nice ability, not game breaking or anything, but convenient
Sorry, but I don't want pandering to religious types. Anyone who can't separate what their video game character does from themselves, should not play games, goes for the insane or the religious. Strange how you can justify using magic, but can't justify having your guy eat pork. Seems really strange how that works.

Well, I'm sure that a late game fortress probably would have some fairly tough militia, if they follow the same guidelines at trained troops. But by then, I rarely have to worry about being attacked at all.
So you can't have your game character eat it? So, can not use magic or play as Resoln and get demons and stuff either? I'm sorry, I'm not religious, so I didn't know that religious rules transferred into what your game characters do.
That's interesting to try out, hard though as they never seem to survive combat.
That's strange to me, as I don't think my militia has ever defended me against anything on their own. They can add strength to a defense if there are other trained defenders int he city, but I have never had them actually fight off anything on their own.
It would make more sense that the AIs gang up on the most powerful nation, not the weakest. Right now, the nations seem to give up and give in to the front runner, giving them gold, sucking their cock, and joining in on their wars against the weakest opponents.
Some times mine doesn't happen for a long time, maybe even 100 turns, and then I will look over and there is a spot in the middle of my kingdom that can be settled.
I think the only way you could ever come to getting 500 influence is with the heroic trait. Nothing else builds it up to that point. I wouldn't be surprised if Kraxis could never cast that spell in a game.
The worst time I had, was with a beta a while back. There were a group of Umberdroths from the Caves wildland(can't think of the name) that went straight from destroying one city of mine to the next, they destroyed every city I had, 5 in total. They didn't even pause from city to city, now a days, monster kinda wander around lazily, but these guys systematically destroyed me in a matter of a few turns. I keep trying to fight them off with champs and armies,
I had a group of golems from the scrapland wander all the way across a large map and enter my territory on turn 70 one game. Took me a long time to even figure out where they had came from. Luckily they didn't decide to attack my city right away, as I only had a few trained troops there and I doubt they could have fought the golems off. They wonder from those wildlands, sometimes far, far away.
Giant fucking Hoarder spiders, and Umberdroths.
Yea, Yithril is a strange one because it has a great race, Trogs, and terrible faction abilities (terrible is overly strong, but they are nothing special). The axes suck, the 10% hit points isn't much, the +1 level for trained troops is alright, the starting warfare tech is meh, and the no ranged penalty is harsh. Yithril in it's entirety is balanced by having a powerful Trog race (although, I liked the +1 attack a lot more than berserk) Peo
