We use to be able to give units the ability to cast certain spells, maybe we still can and I haven't been paying attention. I admit, the magic tech tree is the side of things I know the least about.
Lord Xia
It's happening in topics on the front page of this forum.
The Champions and Sovs are the spell casting mages, it's what makes them truly special. If you want to train some spell castors, than play as Altar and make magic using henchmen.
It does, so getting to civics tech, and spears, then rushing a couple basic spear troops, will boost your scores. Leather armored spear users are solid troops.
I would prefer a game about powerful magic users, have powerful magic in it.
Steam will probably update your game automatically. The start of the game can be difficult. It's a good idea to expand with pioneers or rush with troops/ early. And you should have a plan with your researching. Depending on your sov/faction and available resources, you might want to avoid researching into the magic tech tree for some time. Generally the first levels of the other two trees will serve you much better early on. &n
Well, elite troops are leveled troops. If you have a high level fort, your troops might come out level 5, with bloodthirsty and act first during combat, + 30 accuracy, extra armor from buildings and have bonus hp, defense, fire damage...just from being built in a leveled fort with enchantments on it. Then add that to any traits, items, weapon and armor you add to that. Their weakness will come from large monster with overpower or spells and abilities that due multi
Are we talking about champions with magic or the "mages" troops?
Or just have shrink not stackable.
I reloaded today when the autobattle went fucking bonky. But I have no shame about reloading. But then again, I don't claim to be awesome at the game either.
I blind the shit out of things all the time. Doesn't work against Capitar much though, they have lucky now and a racial bonus to accuracy, those dicks. Derek did boost starting accuracy, but nerfed level gain accuracy.
God, I hope they start from scratch and say fuck all those poorly written books.
Tried raise land awhile back, didn't work, said it couldn't be cast on oceans. Making it worthless. Was trying to create a land bridge to the islands on the big premade map, but it's fucked.
I've always been of the opinion that you can't really cheat in a single player game. But, that being said, you also can't complain about the game being too easy if you do a lot of reloading. If you are reloading, it's not easy.
This wildland messes up if there is a city built on it's border too close to the spot a city is suppose to be built inside it. Did that make sense? Kind of confusing. You have to finsih the wildland by building a city on a specific tile, normally it's obvious which one, as it's the only tile that you can build on after you kill all the monsters, BUT if there is a city built right outside the wildland within the 6 tile space, then the tile is no longer available t
The EU is mostly crap, rewrite away.
Hahaha, I read this too, its a fucking player review and it's shit.
Hmm, well, my initial thought were "God, now Star Wars is really going to suck". But then I thought about it, when Disney bought Marvel, I thought that, and I have loved the Marvel movies since then, and I really didn't care for the last three movies, so it's not like they really have to preserve a legacy, it's already been tarnished. If this is on the up and up, that is.
Light plate is heavier than chainmail and takes more metal to build. It's more of a preference thing than anything else, more defence, but at higher cost and weight.
I have thought about this, and I am starting to think that one of the biggest flaws of the games diplomacy is the AI's unwillingness to realize they are getting their asses kicked. I can destroy army after army, and take several cities, but the AI will still want thousands of gold for peace. Once war is declared, one side pretty much has to be destroyed for it to end. I wish the AI could realise that it's either losing or that a prolonged war would not benefit&n
The Great wolf actually gives you a bonus to attack based on it's level. I had one that was level 12 last game...so a +12 to everyones attack. That makes your troops really fucking vicious. Also, big fucking spiders. The really big fuckers, hoarders.
Yea, the Luchuirp golems with the fireballs were fun.
Really, you already gave the answer I would. Resources. Metal tends to be less valuable than crystals. Less useful anyway. So if I don't have the crystals to spend, I make archers, and vise versa.
I really don't like any of those choices. Dual wielding? Really? You want to add that to everything. [e digicons]:D[/e] Overpower would be enough and thematic.
Oh yea, archers and magic staff troops are great.
