Quoting Frogboy, reply 6Retired champions are very useful. Hey Frogboy, would you be willing to elaborate on some of the various ways they can be useful? Kind of sum it up?
They make great doorstops, paperweights, decorative pieces. Their usefulness is unlimited! but really, this is pretty much no longer an issue with injury healing potions.

How Dare they!!!! That's what the response will be from some, don't be surprised. Not my opinion I would happily pay for a dynasty system that was more in depth and worked a bit better than the last one

Couldn't disagree more, City razing shouldn't be easy to do. A city is filled with hundreds of people and buildings, it shouldn't disappear like a fart in the wind as soon as it's conquered. I like the 5 turn limit. Now, that being said, maybe we can have a game option with a slider for city razing, defaults on 5 turns, but you can change it to 1, 3, 10, or never? I like options.
Quoting Lord Xia, reply 45 If I put an army into a city, and then try to take a unit that was in that army out of the city, it will turn around and reenter the city. This normally happens when you are moving an unit out of a city, but when selecting a destination square where to eject it from the city, you choose a square that itself still is a part of that city. I sometimes make this

Also, there really isn't that much champion research to do, so it won't hurt them too badly if they do.

Also, consider how different things are after FE's release than they were at WoMs release. Massive difference. The forums back then were exploding with legitimate complaints, vile rants, asking for refunds, and it didn't go away for months. What do we have with FE, a pretty general recognition that the game is good, a few minor bugs here and there being reported, and some balance ideas being batted around, even the complaints are pretty mild or an

(yes I am an adult, but I still have to play the game)
Hey, I'm playing a similar game, I couldn't buy a brand new game for a year, I can buy things that are on sale or some cheap DLC, but that has been it. Saving for my wedding, but thank god, it's almost over, getting married in a month. It will be nice to be married and all, but

Swords should be more expensive in resources and time for the standard soldier than other weapons. It may already be, I don't know off the top of my head. The reason we didn't have armies of people using swords, is because it takes longer time and better skill to create a sword, better material, and more training to make someone good with it. For the game, the big reasons that most champs use swords are this, most of the hero level w

The earth is scorched already when a city is razed. The area the city was on is no longer available for city placement. But I assume you want to scorch the entire area the city's zone of control covered? I see the strategic value of it, but it seems contradictory to the point of the game, to save civilization from annihilation and to bring life back to the scorched world. Maybe more appropriate for a mod. Just my 2 cents.

I had a warrior that was blind in one eye and close to -50% hp, he was pretty fucking worthless after 4 injuries. Although most of my injuries happen in the early game where I am gambling a lot more and fighting a lot of one champ vs monster battles.

The AI should both Destroy very weak factions AND gang up on very powerful ones, while also looking for opportunities to declare war on those that are already engaged. Anyone who has played MP Dom3 enough knows this is the strategy. Weak nations, you take over and you do so very fast before another can attack it or you and force you to fight on multiple fronts. When a single nation starts to become very powerful, the other middle nations should gang up on it to take it d

I've had this happen before, but it was a long time ago in an old beta. I haven't even see this wildland in any game I have played over the last few weeks, wasn't even sure it was still in the game. What happened to me, was the city had no zone of control at all, so I couldn't use the darkling resources after I conquered it, but I think the quest did end for me. I remember having the city, but no zone of control, and something else
Where are you people finding extra heroes to leave in cities..In the games I've played I've been able to recruit 2-3 champs and I need them all exploring in the field
This is actually true of most of my games. I usually only have a small handful of heroes, Usually 3 for most of the game, sometimes late in games I get more, but with many costing over 1,000 gold, I often don't bother.

It seems more of a taste thing to me, I certainly agree that the game has issues, but I don't find them quite as severe. A few tweeks here and there will do, I am enjoying it very much, 130 hours in.
