You missed the point; the question is why does the information with Stardock get deleted if Stardock is a separate entity from Impulse.
No, I got the point. My opinion is still quite valid to his question. Also, the letter he qoutes answers his own inquiry.. Stardock isn't just a gaming company, which is Stardock Entertainment inc. It is a corporation, with many moving parts (unless my understanding is incorrect), thus your

So tell me, have you ever seen Star Trek: The Next Generation? Know of Captain Picard? Patrick Stewart probably has the best facepalm technique of all time.. However, I'm quite certain I just gave him a run for his money after reading your post RussW. The simplist solution for you in my opinion: uninstall impulse, and move onward towards tomorrow with your chin held high my friend. To my knowledge, your account with Impulse is the same as your Stardock account. Impu

So long as Stardock remains Stardock, I'm cool with whatever. If yet another company that I love loses its passion.. I'd be a sad panda. Not that I'm actually a panda, or at least I haven't been called that yet.. Anywho, looking forward to 1.2-1.3 and FE.

Hrm.. Frogboy, I've understood most of what you have done over these years that I've been following Stardock.. So I'll go ahead and say it.. April Fools? Brad, you trolling us? [e digicons]:troll:[/e] [e digicons]:troll:[/e]

But the one complaint that has really made me hate humanity a little more is that Stardock if screwing people by making FE a stand alone game instead of a "true" expansion. Even though they are getting it for fucking FREE or discounted. That shit boggles the mind. Brad, I know you refrain from telling people to go fuck themselves, but really

Although I can understand wanting an RPG with a top down perspective, RPGs with first person perspective existed long before the shooter was invented. As for the Stardock RPG, if you ever get around to it, my thoughts: Look at Bioware, go in the other direction.

Hm. I believe the Total War series of games solves this problem quite simply; hit your spacebar while your unit is in motion to increase movement speed by somewhere around 3x. Nifty solution in my opinion. Hit spacebar, receive victory over slow movement in 3D campaign mode. I also tend to play in the cloth map of the game, as the information that is relevant to ruling an empire is more readily available. However, we differ in the opinion of it being an issue. It just m

Large maps. I rather enjoy going a good while before encountering any of the AI. Give them time to build up and make a name for themselves before they find me and start demanding things of me because my military is deceptively weak.

I assume you're talking about the beta patch for Elemental? ... It isn't DRM. It's just a way of letting the Devs send updated xml files to the game without having to put out another patch. The offical release patches do not call home, if you have issue with the game dialing back, then revert to a previous patch (an offical release) and wait for the next offical release patch. I've seen a couple of people have th

Well interestingly enough, I've had this problem as well after alt-tabbing with Elemental. However, I have also had this same problem with several other games out there, such as Fallout, Avp, and even StarCraft 2. Though SC2 it doesn't happen as often. And what is seriously funny is that on my old computer (that was 6 years old) I never crashed on those games, or on Elemental. I rarely ever had a CTD with Elemental, even after playing a game for more than 800 turns. Though usually after alt-t

Welcome to the forums.
•Is there a demo?
Not yet, it is being worked on as we speak. It will be released sometime around the v1.1 patch. I agree with your post. I do not like how the AI currently is so hyper aggressive based on military might. The philosophy seems to be Might Makes Right.. I'm looking forward to what AI changes are being made in v1.1, hoping to see a more organic structure to diplomacy.

The duration of panic depends on the circumstances of the panic. The morale of your/enemy forces is dependent upon the relative battle rating of the armies. If you have a vastly superior battle rating, then your morale will rise, and the enemy's will fall per turn, and vice versa. However, if you use a spell to panic the enemy, and if they have a superior battle rating, their morale will start to rise slowly, while yours still continues to drop. Once an enemy is in a state of panic, they will

Oh..My...Dude, you go into your My Documents > My Games > Elemental > Races And then select the faction you created and delete it. Done. For the other complaints, they're working on it. Also, GalCiv2 was a very, very different game when it first came out. So the same holds true for Elemental, and so it's all up hill from here.

Actually Uga-Bugga..I saw a link about how they may actually be changing some of the character designs, not sure if it'll be updated to your particular standards, but who knows. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOU8GIRUd_g I think there was a dev journal about it a while back as well... They both have a coat of arm/logo in the upper right corner when you click on them, but the one used by free agents is hard to differentiate early on when you haven't memorized the various logos used by your competitors. The game froze without freezing you say? I've noticed that sometimes after you finish a turn and click the next turn button, the game doesn't always go to the next turn. I have however found a fix for this, at least for my own issues with it. I go into the options and check the Auto-Turn box on if it happens to me, then I cycle through my units and have them guard, at which point the game then continues on to the next turn and I switch auto-turn back off. It happens rarely but since I can fix

Side note: I have noticed that casting Berserk on a unit causes the accuracy of said unit to go down considerably. I have also noticed that the damage doesn't seem to increase much, if at all when a hit actually landed. I'm unaware if this is intended or not.

I think the Kingdom's familiar is fine as is..However, the Spy should be nerfed into the ground. The power to hit everyone on the field for 10 damage is far too strong, and even considering that most champions are within range of 10-20hp (unless you spend most of your attribute points on constitution) it can kill them with relative ease. Consider that the Spy is a very low tier summon, it's power is grossly disproportionate to it's tier. Also, the summons seem to suffer

The idea of your champions not always being killed, but instead taken prisoner for some sort of ransom/exchange is rather interesting. It adds yet another layer of depth to the risk of using champions, maybe they'll add something like this when they do the champion revamp. It should also certainly be an option for the royal families within the game, and perhaps if you have held onto a prisoner long enough, you can change their disposition towards your kingdom/empire and have them join you.</p

I agree with the OP. The whole might-is-right thing is kinda annoying. Simply because my military is smaller than everyone else on the board, they take it upon themselves to dislike me and sooner or later declare war..Only to be crushed anytime they invade. I had the computer once send a stack of 6 armies, each exceeding 800 battle rating. I teleported in with my daughter (who had 88 essence at birth..she was like the Brolly of my faction) and watched as spell after spell was flung at them, u
