Quoting NorsemanViking, reply 52 Quoting Sentinemodo, reply 51Fb, will you press for multiplayer DLC if I buy this one? Please please, kind Froggie.
Would you be willing to give up player designed units to have a greater visual variety in the races?
Not even remotely. I would pay for DLC to increase the flexibility of created units though, add more flavor to them and more unique faction units. I spent almost as much time in GalCiv2's ship creator as I did in the strategic part of the game. A large part of my love of GalCiv2 is how fun it was designing my own s

Yeah... Horrific Wail destroyed dirge on damage. On my last game Ceresa was 33 or 34, had 10 of most of the shards (Including Death), Dirge would dot a target for about 20 points per action, while Horrific Wail would annihilate the entire field for over 250 in the same cast time and for I think 14 mana for me at that time. I still used Dirge sometimes, for the hell of it. But if it was anything I was concerned about fighting.. Wail, lets just say they didn't get a chance to do much.

Again, I see some valid complaints here. But also.. As Lord Xia said a while back, these issues I keep seeing come up from a few different folks.. All seem to be taste issues. We can't all get what we want put into a game. Because it would be like mixing everyone's favorite color, in the end.. You'd get no color at all. And ntino, as far as trying to dissuade people from coming in here in an almost call to arms fashion for the defense of Stardock(

Well, you have some valid points to your post. I can't go into detail with everything that I agree/disagree with though, as it would double your own original post length. However.. Gold as the most important resource? Depends on what faction you are playing. I'd really enjoy you telling Ceresa with 130+ spell mastery and 9 death shards that her wailing spell that hits all enemies on the field for 250+ is not as good as a weapon. Got something that has more hp than that? Sure, th

I agree with GFireflyE. Having a Governor within a city should yield exp for them doing what they're supposed to be doing. It seems counter-productive to have someone who benefits a city not in the city to gain the exp they need to better benefit the city. Also, having troops stationed (trained ones) within a city that are just sitting there.. Well, it is reasonable to assume that they'd be doing their rounds, practicing, keeping their skills sharp. So that is e

I would like this map as well. I'm under the impression that Stardock could release this map as part of some DLC for the 64-bit users as was discussed in past threads. The world of Elemental itself is just so large.. I wonder how a fully loaded world of that size would actually run... And considering the scale, I imagine that the AI would display some interesting behavior on that level. Anyway.. Frogboy, if you are reading this.. If this map is possible for you to put out th

That missing Lannarg seed icon.. Took me a moment to find that thing. Also, Derek if you use Blessing of Restoration on Shirayne, her heal in tactical combat does not actually do anything. It just says it heals the target for %d.

Mm..Maps. And locked starting locations available. Now we're talking. You can create a map and have distances as such to not come across any rival factions for a time, for those that prefer that sorta thing. Also Frogboy, I have question regarding the world of Elemental itself.. Do you have any plans to release a map of the actual world of Elemental? Considering its size, I figure it'd be a 64bit, but I'm uncertain.. Either way, that's the one

Well, I'd say you should optimize for normal sized maps, not small maps though, if I wanted to play small maps with some crazy action I'd play StarCraft. I personally play on the largest possible, as I enjoy a long game with lots of ( potential )chaos going on, though I do not load out a lot the factions, as I prefer to go a ways without meeting anyone. The moment you run into another faction, it is instantly a pissing contest and you either have to pay tribute or go to wa

I have to say.. The Vasari Rebels Titan is a snowball of unstoppable madness. It's "I steal life from everything around me without limit" is a one-ship armada crusher. But I still love the game. Side note -Mr.Wardell, would you please go to your State of Steam thread, and run in there shouting as loud as you can Kuchiyose: Yatai Kuzushi no Jutsu!!! Well now, this is quite the gem. I know that reason often falls upon deaf ears, I tell myself that everytime I see a post in a forum about something that is just boardering on troll-level content. You see, you can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped. If you try, you're the asshole suddenly. So yeah, I know it is more or less pointless to try and argue any points here, but I'll go ahead and give out my opinion on some of these posts. T

I'd rub asses with Gabe. Steam has never done me, nor anyone I know any wrong. In fact, I enjoy their services greatly. And they have Dota2. Mm..Dota... Though don't worry, I'm fully ready for the day when Skynet --er Steam shows its true colors. *Glares at computer tower* [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
If the goal is to make the tactical battles so basic that they don't affect the outcome vs. automatically resolving, don't include them. I would much rather deal with Civ style auto resolve as the only option, than knowing there is this 'tactical' system tacked on for no other reason than to include it in the feature list. That's a pretty unfair assertion.

I thought about it for a while, not really sure what I should do.. Then I said to hell with it and decided I'd install steam and await Rebellion... Little did I know, that it would be my computer tower itself that would rebel! The moment I opened the steam exe, my computer suddenly shuddered and made these strange noises.. Then, without warning (ignoring the shuddering and voices?) it jumped up off of my desk and transformed into a 6 foot tall robot of evael . Not

I'm uncertain if it is intended or not for those to stack. I have never tried to stack them myself, as all I needed to do was cast Grow and Giant Growth(I think is the name of it) on a normal defender unit and have it hit the dragon for 1200+ damage. I think some of these spells are a bit overpowered. A +50% to damage is kinda scary when it is multiplied like that. The damaging spells that I have seen thus far seem fine and in line with what I'd expect, but the buffs a

I don’t have an artistic eye.
You seemed to have transformed the texture to make the game world look more like an actual cloth map. Which from a stylistic point of view is... Interesting. The only problem I see with it is the clash of the character/objects on the map. If you could somehow blur the line between those, then I think you'd have a ve

If you want to play against the AI at its strongest and still be fair (in that it isn't exactly cheating) play on Challenging. The AI is better and only gains a slight HP bonus, which imo is fine. The AI should be given an advantage to make up for the fact that it can not as of yet, think outside of the box. I place a mountain on a choke point and that is pretty much game. I can take all the time in the world to econ up and launch the steamroll when I am ready. That is on the same o
