Yeah that's why Sid Meiers games are top selling strategy games of all time because he doesn't know what he's doing. Lmao same with CA and Total War games. Outselling all your crappy games that are sooooooo balanced the ai can't win. hahaha baw haw haw haw haw. Come back when you growup kid and realize the way to make great games is to allow their to be difficulty levels an cheats for players who have a higher IQ than you do. Everyone that plays these games don't have 80 IQ's like you.lmao Ev

We all know in most every game that ai is usually a pushover and we get so strong it becomes not much fun to continue on and boring. So I propose the AI SURPRISE programming that knows when the game has reached that point. The AI surprise is about LUCK and there should be LUCk in this game. From out of nowhere the AI will get this LUCK and will be granted an X number of the most powerful creatures in the game that it can control (but at least a stack full). It's like a one last stand

I really wish research was more like random discoveries instead of research a specific thing. How many leaders go into a lab and say ok I want you to research lasers with X components and Y disfusions and Z hyper active expulsions? Research should just be a population value, education of that population value and costs of resources and of course random intelligence of those educated population values and then let the scientists or in this case the research wizards just have

In Crusader Kings there is what they call a Fosterling ability. You can send YOUR children and the childre of YOUR court to another realm to be raised and vicey versa. This gives the "choice" of who raises the child and everyone can be happy. Myself I want to raise my own children, others would or might want to use the Fosterling feature. It also has diplomatic effects and can cause "rivals and friendships" as the children of one realm grow up with children of another realm. Then when th

Well it would be different if this were going to be a major multiplayer game, but, it isn't. It's just going to have multiplayer ability and those that MP it are just going to have to accept it the way it comes as far as balance goes. They can make up their usual house rules to gimp someone or make someone more powerful. Main thing is the main game must not be balanced to a 100% margin for all factions. I want to be able to overcome the all powerful from the beginning of the game not

Yeah I agree I think that's false advertisement. They make it sound like a BETA which has always been FREE and a Pre-Order which has always been able to be canceled before the release date. I thought they just wanted a rough estimate of how many people were interested in buying the game upon release date not actually CHARGING TO PLAY A BETA!! lol They are some fools.

In the good ole days (unlike our present day socalled civilized fiasco of mother 99% getting the child) the father figure was ALWAYS the authority and as well it should be. I think there should be some "influence" factors from the father as to what the male child becomes, but, the child if it is a male at the age of adulthood should finally get to pick his trade based on those influences. Females on the other hand should not get any choices but to be play things for their spouses an

Thus if the channeler dies his offspring can take over for him and the game continues on an on an on until you take out the whole race, all it's cities and castles and everything. No, that didn't change. The article clearly states that while the soveriegn is immortal, his children aren't. Soveriegn death = game over. [/

Well even I have to admit being "CHARGED" to participate in a BETA is a bit far fetched and rediculous. I mean seriously it's very easy to put $40 in a new checking account. Wait for all this bs to pass and then just draw the dam $40 out and close the account. They aren't going to know the funds have been removed until they try to process the pre-order a 2nd time around. Thus they should just let everybody participate in the beta for nothing, BUT, nobody gets a free game out of it for doing s
and multiplayer is what sells most games
Bawhaw haw haw hawhaw. Darn if that is so. There's been plenty of polls over the years proving that MYTH wrong. More than 80% of the voters clearly voted for SOLO play over multiplay. They even had one poll at Age of Wonders Heaven website. More or less the official website for AOW! lol Multiplayer sells RTS and FPS games it does not sell TBS games by a long shot. Main reason is 99% of TBS games just take too long to play
