Well, that was conclusive, I think you received the entire gamut of possible answers. :(
BlackSmokeDMax
So do you have an E version going as well? Sounds like you are your own multi-team game house! ;)
Either that, or have the 'Manual Placement" option include the right to snake to forest and river locations for lumber mills and piers.
I wouldn't mind seeing that, as long as it was made into two switches. One for manual placement, and one for "build option" so to speak. I'd rather they didn't include it in the same switch as is currently there as I like the current system. But I'd be totally down for them add
i noticed that if you click on a caravan, it says something like: current road level: trail 19 trips to next road level and there's a little progress bar. what is this all about ? do caravans somehow upgrade your roads? given the rate that they get eaten by ogres, and the average length of a "trip", i'm not sure if i've ever even seen the second road level in a 300 tur
It's too bad this wasn't a feature. It would make it more interesting to strategically shape your cities.
Not sure if you are clear or not. You CAN snake, to setup blocks. What you can't do is snake to a river or forest and be able to build the special line of buildings normally available when one of those tiles is in one of the 8 surrounding tiles of your central city tile.
Hey Hf, what do you think about making a werewolf model? There is that fairly rare hirsute unit called a Krigoth. Take off the horns and protrude the face a little. Bam! Werewolf.
That'd be sweet. The return of Baron Duin Halfmoon ?
Would you be willing to give up player designed units to have a greater visual variety in the races?
No freaking way. One of my favorite parts of Stardock TBS are these.
I'm getting a bit pissy about the approval process. It's been more than 24 hours now that my mod Stormworld has been unavailable because of it. What's the point of having a mod library like this if we aren't going to use it because of this process?
Thought they had you setup to bypass that?
41 years old. I also am a GC2 crossover. Yep, played AD&D, and Basic before that. Still have piles of modules somewhere I bet. As kids we, um, "liberated" them from the dumpsters behind TSR in Lake Geneva, lol.
Welcome! Have to say, I agree with you just about 100% in your writeup. Make sure you visit the modding forum as well, they have a couple decent ones already in great shape, as well as some UI customization.
Thanks! Just the info I was looking for.
We hope you guys enjoy reading these supplemental materials as much as we did making them.
Absolutely! Great job, and thank you!
Heavenfall, a question or two on Frost Giants and their cloaks of hierarchy. I see the warning about not setting the cloaks as upgradeable, else losing the upgrade armor option. Does that mean that you can upgrade the units to the next cloak size, or is that more in relation to not being able to upgrade the rest of their armor? Also, with not setting the upgradeable cloaks, does that mean you went through and set up basic units with the different cloaks or was that automatic and you s

Thought Frogboy said in a thread that today is patch day. Hopefully!

Even if you don't celebrate it, I doubt that there is anyone in the western world who doen't know when it is. And

Found a spelling mistake. Not sure if you'd like new threads for something like that in the modding sub-forum or just in this thread. I'll put it here for now. In the sovereign selection screen for the centaur leader, spear is spelled separ.
And turning mods off/on. In fact you won't even have to replace that 1 file if you turn off mods because it's not noticeable in the game.
Great! Thanks for the info! Think I'll give it a go. Still can't wait for a nicer system, but hey, it's not that hard having some patience.
For Stormworld, you only really need to replace 1 file in the installation directory - and I include the backup for it. The rest goes into /mods/. Or you can just play without the Rivermod and put everything else in /mods/.
So playing Stormworld and a game of Vanilla back to back is only a matter of renaming 2 files then; switching modded to a backup, and the original backup back to regular filename?
Has there been any word from Stardock on fixing the issue of modifying main files yet? I'm a bit leery of really jumping into using the mods until this gets fixed. I, like Supreme Shogun, am really concerned about possibly having to reinstall constantly. So far I've only been using the LargeUI mod, which has worked beautifully, but I'd really love to give Stormworld or Master's Affliction a whirl!
Could the description say something like: "Immbolized for 2 turns (including current turn)"
Yea, but that doesn't explain Altar that was near last place also mysteriously getting 20,000 and Gilden in second getting 30,000, or Capitar in the middle getting 10,000. Resoln was just the earliest that I noticed, and from the way the score jumped she used it to full effect.
Hah, no it doesn't. Freaky.
Was the faction powerful enough that it was extorting other factions for the cash?
