I disagree, also I wasn't at an "arguing" level only a discussion level. Perhaps to save us both time you should not reply to my postings and I'll also avoid your postings.... just trying to find us a way to avoid the lo
If Stardock skimps on the unit descriptions and histories of the units they think most people will be familiar with, the result will be awkward. More exotic creatures would have more fleshed out text assets and then unicorns, vampires, etc. would get a couple sentences? If Stardock invests time and effort into including unit descriptions and histories (which they should, IMO, regardless of their choice of caste), then
I haven't seen anything to indicate the magic system is the "crowning jewel" of the game. Link referencing equivalent of "crowning jewel" for Elemental or is this another empty gut feeling ? I must recommend you

I enjoy many of the old D&D games on the PC, but the graphics and fonts for this game are painful. I play games with poor graphics such as Dominions_3, but Knights of the Chalice has graphics from the 80s.
They released two expansions, not 3.
3 expansions: Shadows of Undrentide; Hordes of the Underdark; and KingMaker (each has a box)
This is a silly argument, IMO. NWN is a great game, yes, and the design of it, where you can get basically unlimited community content and new adventures is what's kept it going. And it's the game that I've spent the most hours on by far. But (IMO) the stor
Except for MMORPGs that are neary assumed to come out in "beta" status, if a game comes with bugs, it gets hammered by reviews (you have the recent Demigod example with multiplayer). It doesn't matter it gets great after several patches, the damage to the game for the general opinion is already done. They definitely follow the forums and they definitely respond to player feedback. The changes to espionage through the two GC2 expansions are a fine example. (And on an editorial note, I suspect that your chances of getting an idea into a busy dev's head tend to be inversely proportional to the length of your post about the idea.)
Yes, I see the
So my question is, would you guys like to see a few heroes who are very customizable, or lots who aren't? How many heroes and skills should, in your opinion, become the standard for the genre?
The number of heroes should mainly depend on the size of the map, yet other variables such as custom made maps and number of opponents may also adjust the number. A small map with 3 heroes would be normal. On the 64bit map sizes for Elemental which may use 4GBs of

I would suggest you back up any critical files before you go to SP3, especially if your system is a bit dated.
The quality of the single player experience of NWN should be meassured by the quality of the single player campaign that came in the box, as that's what the majority of buyers are going to experience, not by the quality of other things you can get on the internet.
Ok, I know Serivce Pack 3 for Windows XP came out a while ago. For those who have upgraded to SP3 from SP2, do you need to reinstall programs after you upgraded it?
