Dunno. Seems to me any kind of military force could do this, not just a powerful supercombatant.
A supercombatant can win these locations instantly upon discovery where as a military force will take MANY turns to build. And it would take even more turns to build a military force equal to that of a channeller who pours all the essence into himself. This means the channeller will own t
I don't think it will work the way you say, NTJedi. A powerful channeler hoarding his essence may indeed be very powerful personally.. but that's essence which isn't used for expansion. It didn't make lands habitable, it didn't provide your nation with special resources, it isn't inside buildings which are creating magical equipment, it isn't in the hands of a spellcaster working to expand your nation. There is no reason to
This is an idea which I believe will provide inspiration and motivation for the Stardock developers. Basically during the lunch hour Stardock will play a fantasy movie for the staff. Since hands will be busy with their lunch their eyes can be watching one of many great fantasy movies. Why stare at the soda machine when your eyes could be watching a fantasy movie. The staff could also vote on which fantasy

If that were not to happen, I wouldn't see a point in making an ultra-powerful channeler. I would just spend all the essence I can to strengthen my nation, knowing that it co

You should include the minimum requirements from sins as well. It's not like everyone has sins installed or will be willing to hunt down the minimum specs.
Heck, if I was the CEO of a company... my parking space would be three parking spaces wide, with it's own shaded security shed and no other parking allowed for two parking spaces near my shed. Naturally video cameras monitoring different angles of the parking lot as well. Well that was my brief day_dream. [e digicons][/e]
Personally I feel the setup should be done similar to the Dominions_3 method.... let me explain the details: 1) Every player chooses their image which fights to become the god of the realm which will be controlling a race/nation. This image might be one of many titans, one of many m
Also... sorry for anyone who didn't have a chance to vote. I wasn't aware these polls only allow for 100 votes. :( Hopefully future polls can be provided at another location which has no voting limit or even better if these forums provided the option for hosting polls.
That has nothing to do with why there's no AoW_III. The AoW series was financially successful, overall high game ratings by gamers and a long term active forum community for each release, but the developers decided to pursue an RPG compatible with consoles called Overlord. <
The white hair has me believe this is an older troll so a few teeth missing, perhaps a few black spots from holes and the alignment of teeth more jagged would provide a more realistic fantasy appearance. I know the majority of people across the world need braces at some point to keep their teeth aligned.

We dont want to get into too fine of detail with battles since the war-game is only part of a much larger picture.
Could we use modding to add wisdom, precision, dexterity and others?

I find it simply amazing that this troll not only has all his teeth, but they are perfectly aligned!! Even the color of his teeth are quite nice being an off-white with slight yellow. The trolls in Elemental must have some type of awesome dental plan.

At this time I've been given the impression all the sovereigns will have only human form. I pray every night sovereigns will be allowed to have different shapes and sizes such as a gorgon, cyclops, titan, demilich, as well as the human forms yet only time will reveal the truth.
We all know in most every game that ai is usually a pushover and we get so strong it becomes not much fun to continue on and boring.
Well as long as the victory point system is added as a victory condition then the gamers won't have to go thru finishing a game to the very end. This has allowed massive size maps to end with conquest victories in a timely fashion. I explain the victory point system in the Victory Condition thread:
I think we should add the victory points system as well... this is quite popular for Dominions_3 by allowing very large maps to have a faster game ending. The victory points are special map locations, each providing anywhere from 1 to 5 victory points. It should be possible to place victory points in the map editor OR allow them to be randomly placed on the map. Example: An optional game setting allows to randomly place 20 locati

I would hope Elemental includes both the simultaneous turns and the classic long turns as game options. The simultaneous turns allow faster gameplay which is great for LAN and WAN games. The classic long turns are necessary for PBEM and HotSeat games. Both are important game options.
