I don't worry at all. If the multiplayer code will be good enough, what should be the problem? The vanilla game will be imbalanced for MP games probably, so the MP community will have to work on a balance mod, that is all. There is an excellent MP balance mod for Dominions 3. as well [Conceptual Balance]. Basically all MP games are being hosted with that mod. :)

This is not even a question imo. Even regular units must gain xp and lvl up automatically. I think at least 5 levels should be allowed to "obtain" for regulars/summoned/tamed creatures. This system worked like a charm in AoW2 + SM as well, but we've talked about this already. This system adds to the strategic depth of the game, and that should be important in a fantasy TBS.

I complain about DRM because it is stupid and punishes me. I've never pirated a single game, but it drives me mad that I get punished for buying a game legally with an inferior product while the pirates get to play a far

It's against the core gameplay concept: 1. Even the childs of the Sov cannot become Sovs, because there is only one Sovereign / faction. IE. We don't have a "successor system" in the vanilla game. 2. Sov dies = game over That being said, we've talked about this already. It would be cool to have a successor system, but it just won't happen in the vanilla => Some experienced Python coder will have to mod it in. :)

It requiring steam is nothing new - stockdock requires Impulse in order to receive updates... People keep bringing this up, but the fact is that you never need Impulse to play the game right out of the box. You can't say that about Steam

They probably just get a thrill out of breaking the "unbreakable".[/quote] Indeed...let me quote the Ubisoft programmer once again. -> "For the record I think Ubisoft are being asshat

It looks like that these OOM errors are hardware related as well, because 1Z4 is absolutely stable on my comp&OS, and only a few people are having these oom problems. Weird...but again I don't know anything about hardware&software errors with regard to game developing. [e digicons]O:)[/e]
