Quoting BlackRainZ, reply 46 Expensive = Quality. That is how the world works for the most part (although not always there will always be some exceptions). I'd put it, "Expensive implies quality, but doesn't always deliver." When something is expensive, we expect it to be of high quality. Just as cost, value and worth are not the same, price and quality aren't... although frequently can be.
&nb

Fair enough, just understand that you get what you pay for. In everything. If your entire life isn't on that gateway box then you're probably better off anyway. My posts are obviously aimed at helping thos
Not only did I want thousands of units on the battlefield, AND customizable units - I also wanted a real-time strategy game filled with so much content I couldn't play it in a lifetime if I tried. Also, the graphics should dynamically adjust themselves to my graphic card, so that whatever equipment I have it should always look like I just bought the game. I, too, prefer customizable units over tho
I am going to be honest with you Brad but I would have rather have had the option of thousands of units on the battlefield than the option of customizing units. In my opinion, having the ability to customize units obviously killed that idea of having thousands of units but it also killed the individuality of factions. If you had several unit types for each faction rather than customizing units, each faction could have been more unique and you could have kept in those thousands of units runnin
Merlin is such a terrible show ugh. I really dislike it plus it just butchers the King Arthur story. Camelot is much better.
I could possibly help with magic, give me some ideas what u want done.
What kind of work do you need done with magic?
Yeah, I am using version 8.7, I will download the latest version. I could upload the faction if you like but it is simply just a faction I created using the in game faction editor. I don't see how much help that could be for you since you can make one yourself in a matter of seconds, but I will do it if you like when I return home.
I am using a custom faction and sovereign. Folders are Data ExpandedFactions ExpandedFactions_GloriousDawn ExpandedFactions_GreatHealthRegen ExpandedFactions_PetLovers expandedfactions_UniqueUnits Gfx Movies Screens UpdatedWeapons Couple of files which are NewAidef.xml NewDifficulties.xml NewHiddenResources.xml
I dont know why but when i go to the city build menu to build a building, there are all these empty slots there. It just has an empty build slot, several of them. I must have installed something incorrectly?
Will this be updated? Or does it work with vs 1.2?
This sounds great, love the changes but my concern is with differentiating factions. Kingdoms and Empire have different tech trees which is good but what about the factions in each? Seems like Gilden and Altar will still basically be the same. Would be nice to have some different variations of the tech tree per each of these factions. Will there be any other things you guys are doing to differentiate the factions? Different look of armors? Some different building styles? I don't want ever
Perhaps he thought it was only supposed to be a sandbox game but then someone decided to add a campaign and forgot to tell the rest of the team.
It doesn't matter to me that I didn't use all my population, Population and housing to me makes me feel like I am apart of the civilization and the world. It is part of what immerses me into the game and story because I feel people live there and I like to build large cities and huge civilizations.
I am really upset housing is gone, I like housing, I think it adds to the immersion of my cities. So does that mean population is gone too?
I think the Empires are far more industrial and also would not hesitate to destroy the land for their own purposes. I don't think this necessarily makes them evil but they are a "the ends justifies the means" kind of faction I think. So perhaps it is the heavy industrialization and such which ruins the land.
I'm sorry but I can't play the game on any of the map sizes that are offered. I always end up creating a 256X256 map with like 20 factions on it. I use all of the game factions, the expanded factions mod and a couple I made to get up to 20.
Sorry, I am a little confused as to what this new version does. I mean I read the description so are you saying that depending on what shards spawn and where, the land will be different or something?
Quoting Tydorius, reply 25One request - If you're continuing EWOM and simultaneously developing EFE, please keep the current XML tags in tact even if you use entirely new ones that do the same thing in the new game so that people that spend a lot of time on mods for EWOM don't have to completely redo the mods for EFE. It's hard enough to mod right now while waiting for each consecutive patch. I know you said you wanted to do a mod layer betw
Is this not being done anymore?
Yes, this thread was just a means to pass the time.
By the way, I thought it was pretty funny when you told me I knew nothing about history considering my bachelors degree is in history and my masters degree is in adolescent education, social studies. My next goal is to get my PhD in history.

Many people lack in their understanding of history and that was in response to what you said to me first. In case you didn't realize that. Also, calling the way someone is acting as childish or obstinate again is not a personal attack on you. Your actions and who you are as a person are two different things. We can all act f
