As some may note, I've been taking screenshots and posting bugs, so I'm alt+tabbing out of FE a lot. Had no problem yesterday, but today upon alt+tabbing back after Chrome (browser, not OS) seemed to hang trying to load a Youtube video, FE crashed with the above error. Its

Yes, I noticed the quickbar arrangement not saving between maps in the campaign ... I'd call it a glitch/frustration. Strangely, I also seemed to notice but have not yet fully confirmed that game settings, such as cloth map zoom levels, are not preserved between the campaign and sandbox.
I'm still trying to finish classic Ironman! It's a tough thing for the reviewers right now because there are so SO many games out. And let's face it, FE is a difficult game to review. There's a lot to it. It takes a lot of time. But I'd rather wait for a proper review than have a rushed one. This is a 4X game, it's not going anywhere.
Plus, TBS
There was, at least, a slight fix ... archers appear at the back now. Supposedly, 'weak' units should not be at the front ... but I've had unarmed units such as Pioneers and the Noblewoman from the hut quest appear in front of my melee troops. :/
Has the game review industry gotten to the point that we have to get teased with a preview of a review? lol. http://www.spacesector.com/blog/2012/10/elemental-fallen-enchantress-officially-out-today/ - "... As of the last beta, and I believe the 1.00 version, the only way to heal injuries is to find a special potion through a quest. There are people who are talking about mods that could include new buildings that could heal injuries, though.
I
Quoting Chibiabos, reply 10 I do not get the mentality of so gamers that the solution to a broken game is to give the publisher more money in a fix. Considering that I got Civ V + Gods & Kings during the Steam summer sale for less than the price of the expansion, my perspective might be slightly different.
I pre-ordered Civ V with no discount. Yes, I know, I already have it, but I was trying to put some context into some comments I made about how much Stardock had put into updating GalCiv II up to date, which is what prompted me to fire up Impulse. I do think there should be a sticky note on the main E:FE website to point WOM purchasers there, I have noticed quite a few have been confused. I've been a Stardock Customer since the days of Stardock Central, having to buy tokens and redeem them on the website, before
Anyone else having trouble? I've had a Stardock account since before Impulse, but now GameStop is pushing a revamp that includes a "security upgrade" that is e-mailing me "one-time passwords" that do not work to enable the upgrade to continue, so now my Impulse account is in limbo. :/ Sooo frustrating ... is anyone else having difficulty with the upgrade?
Yes. It does not consume movement points, but it only works when you have at least some movement points left (that is, if you have one movement point left, build a road, then move to another square, the 'Road' button does nothing -- you will have to wait until the beginning of the next turn and hit 'Road' before moving to another square).
Its my fault there's no news, really. See, I found out there's a chat room I can access in-game to chain the poor developers and make them fix bugs as I find them, lol. j/k I've seen several 'Fixed!' responses on a couple of my bug reporting threads here and on the chat channel, so I know they're working on them. No kidding on that one!
I am honestly going to wait before posting a review. I'm taking a bit of a critical look, I want the bugs fixed so I'm reporting them as I find them ... I think this may tend to skew my score downward a bit. At this point, I'd probably give it a 70 or 75, which I think is a good and respectable score, but a lot of "its gotta be 100, it must must must!" fans don't see it that way. I ground through the campaign, pausing a lot for screenshots and bug reporting,
They do not provide a numerical score summary. The reviewer did record a 45-minute video on Youtube, however, embedded in his article. This is a semi-sequel offered for free to early adopters of the first Elemental game, War of Magic. It’s obviously similar in approach (a 4X game with role-playing elements) but much better overall thanks to streamlined mechanics, added co
Quoting Chibiabos, reply 3 I'm not talking about karma points here, but a separate score tallying first-to-find-a-bug. That in itself implies that there are enough bugs present to make a sport out of it. I doubt that is the case. Yes, I used him as a decent tank, but I missed out on several subsequent champions because I took him with me. Now that I know that, I would avoid letting him come with me.
Oh, regarding the skip ... I do not specifically recall whether or not skipping tactical rounds causes the displayed countdown timer in the mouseover to fail to update, unfortunately, but will try to take note of that as I encounter this more often. I would guess, at this point, skipping tactical rounds on a caster may be the trigger for the glitch of the displayed countdown timer failing to update.
This is a difficult glitch to show through screenshots ... This was a few (2 or 3 I think) tactical rounds after casting Tame. Notice there's no cooldown timer countdown at all. <img src="http://i582.photobucket.com/albums/ss262/Chibiabos/Misc%20photo

Just to give folk advice -- avoid hiring Gnarri. Once a champion joins you, you can't get rid of them, and of all the champions in the game, Gnarri causes the most problems in terms of several subsequent champions refusing to join you because he's in your party (and, again, he can't be killed and you cannot remove him nor any other champion from your Sovereign's army). Also ... unlike the sandbox game, there is really no point to investing in non-Champions in the

The evidence is pretty clear Lance doped. Unfortunately, given the fact he doped yet no test at the time could detect the dope (it was obviously engineered specifically to defeat the tests), there's no way to know with any degree of confidence who did or did not dope. Heavy investigations went into Lance because he got all the glory from so many championships ... that doesn't mean the #2, #3, #4 guys, etc. didn't dope, but because they didn't get the glory of win
