Must have felt good to get that off your chest :)
WTF? ONly 93%? What about those other 6% huh? I mean obviously no game can score 100% but this is defo a 99er!!!!11!! Yeah.
They didnt pay enough to get a higher score [e digicons]:moo:[/e] I will await player feedback and then consider buying it
And where is unclaimed territory, there are monsters.
Which is the most fun part of the game right now. Dont remove the monsters :)
Master of Orion II is shared second on my personal best game ever list: 1. CIV IV 2. Total Annihilation and Master of Orion II Top class. I still have it installed on my homecomputer.
Remember that there will be big changes to AI and the game in general in version 1.1 to be released within a few weeks. I think this discussion will be more interesting after that. Still I would say that each turn is just as important in CIV IV on higher difficulty levels. In Elemental the AI is a pushover no matter what you do in my experience.
I have never seen this at all. When the AI goes for the adventure tech it should not give you much trouble (at least not in my games). If you research the tech that makes your units group into 3 or 6 pr, then you should be able to handle anything. If you are empire then Darklings should tide you over anything.
This is working as intended I would say. You can fogbust as in CIV IV I believe. Station your forces in the surrounding areas and it should reduce the amount of monsters. Or have I misunderstood?
SP can be played offline, but you still require a steam account. Not to make this into another steam or not to steam post :)
You like to think big Raven, too big :)
You forgot to lock the thread, so I would like to say "Keep up the good work"
Quoting Tridus, reply 152You're sure that system won't play it? I'd check the demo, you'd be surprised how inaccurate requirements sometimes are. Demo is coming out the same day as the game is.U'll check it out ofcourse, but civ 4 was a disappointment. Even after getting BTS, I still had problems.
CIV IV had a bad launch, but I havent read about any problems afte BTS. CIV IV turned out to be the best game ever mad
IMPRESSIVE [e digicons]}:)[/e]
I agree. If you love someone, let them free :) If a minor nation wins a game by rampaging ogres, then I will go to bed with a smile on my face :)
Well, this is something to discuss. Since everybody can do this it has some sort of balance. Problem is that you HAVE to do it early or you will be wiped out by a rusher (in multiplayer anyways).
Quoting joasoze, reply 16 Quoting buchecker, reply 5I abused that in my last game. I researched the adv tech that gives two food sources, but i held off founding new cities so they spawned right next to the capital. That gave me 3 food sources and from there i funneled all caravans to the capital. Its currently producing 336 food ... (more than 100 to spare) Yay... you have found an argument against city spamming
test failure - no connection
38 here. Started with Sinclair ZX spectrum. Good times
Same here. 38 years old. Reading this thread I would say 38 years young [e digicons][/e]
My daughter (5 years old) keep asking me similar questions
If you get a wolf hide for every wolf, a spider egg for each spider and so on, this could be the basis for many quests. Or you could just sell them in the cities. After you sell 10 wolf hides to a store some new clothing could emerge for sale. Even better if its troll hides :)
If you or some modder needs text for actual quests I might be able to help a little. Just ask. A quick and dirty example Building: Old library As you enter the old library you find that it is not abandoned after all. An old man is sitting in a dark corner and scribbling notes on a very old book. "I am right, i am right" he mutters. As you approach he turns towards you and hold out the book written in an ancient language. "I AM RIGHT" he cries. "Humans and troll
I love quests like kill 10 trolls, build 20 archers and so on. Warlords meet CIV IV quests.
Is this the old game Warlords :) Your ideas have merit. Well done [e digicons][/e]
This is not what I call broken at all. Should possibly be considered no 24504 on the list of things to fix. Its cool to sometimes get some extra cash, nothing wrong with that. This is a single player game and balance isnt all that matters. Fun trumps everything :)
