I just played a game with Umber. Took a lair and could recruit some snake thingies. Turns out that each cost 2 diplomatic capital. When I finally get that, the snakes were so weak that it was a joke. They could not be grouped, and were no stronger than my first militia. Except from that it was a great game. Umber pay double price for Champs I believe. Makes it harder to cham spam.
joasoze
I just played a Looooong game as Umber. I am really starting to enjoy this :d
I got an area spell (I think its called Thunder storm) and sometimes when I cast I cannot "place" it due to constriction (cannot harm myself, but must harm enemies). If this is not possible then esc or similar does not work. The only way to continue is to go to autoresolve. Its very annoying :) JOA
Go to the store. There is an update file there
My bad. Post deleted
Heavenfall. Would be great if you made a faction that is stronger than the others. An unbalanced one :) I would then play as a normal race in a game with many AI`s, and know that one faction is likely (but not certain) to dominate. Would be interesting
The Umber is good. You have all spent aons mocking us, but the tide has turned after the world fell. Suddenly what you found repulsive and stupid is the path to survival. You now must eat what we eat, drink the blood of your enemies and align with us if you want to live. Umber is the future, we have always been here and we will survive you all. [e digicons]}:)[/e]
One beta does not a poni make...
Something to keep in mind is that if injuries are too crippeling, they simply create the "reload save before battle" impulse that a dead champion has. A champion that becomes effectively useless after one or two lost fights might as well be dead.
I just have to say that I strongly dislike the save and reload agruments that pops up everywhere. If someone wants to save and reload to make the game easier, t
And there should be a couple of "hidden" factions that you didnt know existed, but suddenly they are in one of your games ;)
Its the names that we call them. Its not a change on their birth certificate :d
I think I saw this on the fix list for next version.
Good ideas. An interesting minigame within the game is ALWAYS good.
My wish +AI gets an extra champion and two militia to start with on the highest difficulty level +AI gets two extra militia to start with on the second highest difficulty level
@thebigJ_A Its a tradeoff. Would you accept 30 seconds between turns to get a much better AI? There are two things that makes the AI "better". Cheating (bonuses) and more CPU time. Normal should in my opinion be where there are no bonuses and a reasonable amount of CPU time. On hard more CPU time an a touch of bonuses to help the AI. I like the CIV IV way where the AI gets an extra unit to start with on higher levels. Then the rules can be the same for the rest of the ga
Naming enemies that have bothered you is a good thing. Ensuring much glee as they are revenged! Calling enemy units stuff like Slayer of Champions, King of the Wild is cool. JOA
I am pretty sure the champion stack of doom will be nerfed somehow. If not its not a game for me. Then normal army units will matter.
And this is a bug why? Its an unusually cool feature. I am sure there are ppl who are gonna name enemies after Skyrim chars, My Little Ponies and so on. Just let em :d
I think one of the differences is how much "CPU time" the AI threads are allowed to use. In other words, the game will be slightly slower but with a bette AI on higher levels. Atleast that is how I interpret the frog language.
Eh, King's Bounty is doubtlessly fun, but to me the whole thing feels a bit sloppy, like a bunch of elements plopped into a blender and blended into a smooth paste, rather than a carefully constructed game. The scaling of enemies is really strange: you'll often find a weak army right next to a deadly army. Building a fighting force consists of randomly finding whatever units you can recruit, so your fighting forces are rather motley-fe
May I suggest Kings Bounty to you. Your taste is much like mine and Kings Bounty just rocks. Heroes of Might and Magic meets RPG
I dont see how fixing AI will help the fact that heroes run over wildlife due to being overpowered.
Yeah. CIV V was the first CIV game I didnt buy. I am optimistic about FE. Still lots to do, but the foundation is solid this time.
This version is a lot more stable for me. When there is a new official version I assume that we go back to old exe and it will autoupdate, or will the frog.exe version also update?
