Its looks better than Win8 anyways :d
joasoze
I cant help it either. Changelogs are a wonder to behold. Pretty please with sugar on top??
Frogboy may be king of the stupid (trademark), but us stupidfolks will be having a blast with FE. Its really going in a direction I like.
I have pretty good performance on my Asus G73JW (its a laptop from 2010 with Win 7 64 bit). Dont notice any difference with more or less units on screen. Late game the end turn will take a little longer (a few seconds, not more). You can be certain that they are optimizing performance along the way. Frogboy has said so many times. His multithreading AI is one of the things that helps a lot.
Custom race the whole way, serpent pack, Death Worship, Powerful and Uneducated, even playing on ridiculous level, the Umber still get removed quickly from the world
I have just installed the shamelessly promoted mod :d but will try your suggested settings in vanilla later
I have played half an hour with the mod. First thing I notice is that my sovereign has to groups with him from the start. The second thing I notice is that every unit has a lot move hitpoints. On levelup to level 2 there is no difference in the choices from normal game. Should there be? Will test more later.
I am going in Sean. Have downloaded and will start up game now.
I think there might be something wrong with the sweep ability of the drakes. I believe that the text says that the sweep hits all surrounding units at 50% damage. To me it seems more like 200%.
but, but, I am ready now [e digicons]:([/e] My wife is away for 4 days, and I have all evenings. I could test how Umber eradicates the world again and again.
There seems to be a bug with pathfinding where units thinks of stuff as obstacles, when they are not. If you try to go through a one tile wide opening and there is a goodie hut of some sorts, a mine or something on the path, then the unit will consider the path blocked (when it really isnt). Sometimes it will calculate a path through a mine, but when it comes to the mine it will just stop there, other times it will try to find a path around an object that it could pass. Its messy.
My wife is taking a trip to Lithuania. Would be beta all the way if we got a new version :d

But the question remains. When do we get out next version :d
Quoting Wintersong, reply 18People only wants MoO II remake that is exactly like it plus newer graphics. So just gather some talented people (to create a clone free of lawsuits), create indie studio and hit Kickstarter. Or just offer cheap preorders like Xenonauts. something like this???
The tower defense these guys just released was a total disappointment. I'll wait for reviews and patches before I pick up this game, but if it looks good and plays like a better fantasy war with strategy elements, I'm in.
Ouch. Have you tried it, or read reviews? I mean the tower defense game
At least crashes are important to document
I do see that sometimes the sovereigns have 5-10 injuries, so I do know they fight (and not very well). Not sure how much that is monsters or who much that is down to warring other factions.
The digital distribution chart worries me. I don't trust Gamestop, EA is worse, everyone loves Steam but it won't let you play anything without asking for Valve's permission... Am I still going to be able to buy games in the future? It's starting to feel like no one wants me as a customer anymore.
Gamersgate.com is a good option that I use quite a bit.
I mean CIV IV, and I will never use examples from CIV V. That is because I havent played CIV V at all. I read about CIV V for countless hours on Civfanatics and deceided that it was not for me.
Forcing me to play campaign to get normal functionality in sandbox would pretty much make me a hostile puppy. Totally uncalled for, and I hope that this is a thing for EA and Ubisoft only. Heroes VI have some stuff in that vein.
I like the fact that monsters move in mysterious ways. Not so happy when the AI just passes by and dont get attacked.
This will ofcourse mean that there could be monster groups you cannot get away from it you go one step too far into the wild. I dont mind :d
I suspect that the city will grow, but in a different way than before (more like CIV IV). I will not miss the possibility of snaking since I dont really use it and consider it a bit "gamey".
Didn't ya know, Brad's at least a week ahead of the rest of the world! Seriously though it seems so incomprehensible to me that they would go to one tile cities. Are we to have perfectly square (=so nerdy) zones of influence? Are we to have heaps of RAM sucked up by pretty building tile graphix which only get used on some city layout page no-one ever looks at? Or perhaps they are just paying th
Some feedback of my own: 0) Is there a simple written guide/manual for EFE? I find the in-game help largely useless; the last thing I want is some video clip when I'm just trying to find out what a certain thing is or how something works. A PDF keyboard shortcuts chart would be nice, too. 1) EFE is what EWOM should have been (which, for me, raises the question as to why I've had to pay for EFE, but I'll let that
