It's not like they started requiring a persistent internet connection or Steam. Bad marketing move? Yes. Boycotting their games because of it though?
I am not boycotting their games. I am boycotting them. For better or worse,
Thanks for sharing.
That's why I am picking up Sword of the Stars. Granted it's nothing like this, but it will have to do.
Good news, Good news... I have found you. You must have travelled to far from your shack, you know.. the one under the bridge, or are you of the cave variety?
It guaranteed that I would never buy anything from them ever again.
No one here plays EVE Online?
Oh, one more question. Does a sandbox with random map generator mode exist?
Good stuff, but one question. Is the bug where an AI Caravan is stuck with 0 move in your city been fixed? It's the one where the stuck caravan prevents you from setting up your own trade routes.
More interesting info. The more I read/hear about this game... the more interested I become.
Please add the option to toggle the auto troop creation.

The reason those never existed is because armor slowed the horse down, and the really good bows (longbows and the really powerful versions of crossbows) could not be used on horse back. And it is hard to aim from the back of the horse, but that might be hard to add in. The mongols had pretty good bows though on horseback but were

It's beyond me how the game could have been released in this day and age without this "feature." So sure, /thumbsup and all that, but "Hip Hip Hooray?" "Awesome?" No. This whole ownership experience continues to feel like walking into a much touted steakhouse with high expectati
Quoting kryo, reply 58 I was thinking something a bit lazier like a scouting pack that lets a unit go through tiles belonging to another player. Be heavily exploited though if it weren't mutually exclusive with weapons. Yea, that's the trick. How do we justify a pack keeping a player from having weapons? The unit design has definitely been a challenge because realistically, there should be 3 basic paths: <
Yea, been mentioned many times. Some of them were even by me. if you get the necessary attention, then you have my vote as well.
Quoting MOIISKA, reply 13Red Dead Redemption MP Bleh, I want this for the PC!
I like it on the console. Took a while to properly learn the controls and get good at the game. There is nothing funnier than listening to a 12 year old griefer (after he ambushes you and then gets killed every possible chance al the while unable to auto target) rage on the mic. OMG, better than any comedy show.
It's not a flop by any means (E:WoM), but it was a bad release.
So, how would you compare SotS to SoaSE?
I think Elemental will make a comeback. I really do. When all the dust clears, the trolls move on to other more shiney baubles, and E:WoM is in a better state, people will return to this game. Word of Mouth will do it's work. There is nothing of quality in the pipeline for a while. Lots of pretty and shiny things, but not quality. You need to get some of the industry magazines/websites to re-review the game when it reaches that point, because that's only fair. <b
Excellent work. Any chance for a machete?
instead the problem is the AI has its sov see that rating and say "what the hell, let's do this" instead. I am skipping this one until they have a Complete version in a couple of years. I was very disappointed with Civ IV until BTS. I am also not upgrading my system or replacing it until a few more years pass.
Great campaign, but dated gameplay. I can't say exactly why after finishing the campaign I lost interest in playing it.
