It's much better than before.
Nasarog
Nice work.
Chiba... you have a way to draw the trolls out. You complain and they smell something familiar, troll phermones perhaps and they fight for your love and attention within your troll posts. A few were really insulting and offensive.

We are on a further rung of the downward spiral that we have travelled on for as long as I can remember. The lowest common denominator has been winning a lot lately. Instead of spending money on the quality of life of the prisoners we need to turn that around and bring our education system to a high standard. I think when that happens, the emphasis on the type of losers that have been idolized of late with change. We as a society need to stop being lazy.
cash money vs. fandom in that exact order.

Global mana pool is in v1.1 and initiative based combat wont' show up until the expansion.
Ah. So there will still be a randomness in combat right and by that I mean which side goes first.
Quarter to Three sounds like 4Chan.
In v1.1, mana gets stored and has no mana cap. Thus, a cost of 15 isn't that big of a deal then.
So, if I understand you correctly, mana becomes something like Gildar? You start with a base amount and every turn you can store it? Where? How? So there will be no upper limit? Something about this seems like it will be a giant game breaker.
Frogboy: um, global mana pool and initiative based combat?
Wait 'till 1.1
Quoting MOIISKA, reply 1Been talking about this for a while. ... Indeed; since long before the first public beta. Implementing some sort of civilian functionality for champions might even be the hat trick needed to put the non-conquest end conditions on nearly equal footing with the boring old war wins. Especially if the old ideas about secession and governing as a skill/stat get worked into the mix.
I like that a lot
Sucks.
Excellent work. Do you have something else planned?
Will Sword of the Stars go on sale anytime soon?
The usual. let's fix the dynasty part of the game. Succession wars. Inheritance. Marrying your kids/grandkids to champions.
NICE, thank you. I'll be downloading those with the quickness next week.
Excellent ideas. Add my vote.
OP, my intention was not to attack, I was curious about the software you buy. I'll explain why. I wanted to see what kind of a gamer your are. I too have been playing games for a long time. I remember playing Nethack in 1993 or 1994 when I was in school. What a wonderful/terrible waste of time that game was/is. I've played many of the games on your list and I promise you that had you asked for a refund, sent a long winded letter or left an angry message on their a

Gene Hackman, the sheriff of the town, is there with his goons. Clint Eastwood asks who the owner of the bar is, and the bartender steps forward and says that he is. Clint Eastwood shoots him dead point blank. Gene Hackman curses Clint for shooting an unarmed man.
I read your post. I am fascinated by it even. Can you give any examples of the games you buy and what system they are for (since by your own admission you are a serious gamer)?
I am not a fanboy is that sense. I am a fan of the company and their work. I am a male. There. I am happty with the product and expect great things from the company. I complain like everyone else that paid when I am unhappy, and little by little my concerns are being addressed. No company out there communicates with us like that, none. The end.
I won't write what first came to mind, nor the second or third thing. I'll leave it at that.
Quoting hairrorist, reply 3Even -I- would agree that its heading in the right direction, with the caveat of separating attack and defense as well as adding damage types. Fire spells should not harm fire elementals any more than swords against chainmail. I understand that attack and defense will be separated, but have heard nothing on the second. This is REALLY important for the success of this game when it comes to mag
