I would like a Lore pack as well as a monster pack. Love the current monsters but always have room for more.

I would give it a 7 out of 10 honestly. I think Peter Jackson is falling victom to George Lucas like folly by doing too much with CGI...even compared to LOTR. I also feel the use of corny comedy took away from the story...such as it was. As much as I like Tolkien, too many liberties were taken with the story so they could, IMO, stretch the thing out and ultimately make it a trilogy. I saw this in 2D and found that some scenes were oddly out of focus, particulary fast m
I am not a power player so this is really not anything revolutionary BUT just wanted the devs to know I have had the most fun with FE since I purchased the map pack. The huge map is awesome. Still playing my first game on the huge map but must say (yes this is a simple pleasure) I am having great fun taming spiders and creating my own mighty spider army. This is nothing new with this map BUT I am living long enough to atleast get the chance now. :)
As the title reads. Is there a way to do this?
Does anyone know if there is any plan to enhance the environment sounds and sound effects? The occasional grunt, etc just seems so...lacking. I like the music but when you zoom into a city you should hear city sounds, crowds, hammering, etc. Monster and character sounds are hollow. I love the game so far but I agree when people mention how the world does not seem "alive" in some respects. In my opinion, improving the quality of the world sound effects and charact
I will. Have not gotten to Empire yet but after reading some other posts seems like all the cool spells belong to the Empire. :) I have to play more to sound like I know what I am talking about so will dig in later today...if I dont get sucked into Warlock first.
I'm not much of a poster on these forums and am just now actually enjoying a game since the very beginning of Elemental. I am very pleased with how this game is coming. One idea that has occured to me is to combine the heal with the wither spells. In my line of thinking to heal a body, one must take that energy from somewhere else. I would like to see, perhaps if I can learn how to mod) a healing spell that TAKES the same amount of hit points from an opposing army
I think this has already been said but I would like to echo that to me the best solution is to decrease accuracy with movement. kiting only works if it is assumed they hit every time they shoot. kiting may remain effective BUT not a guarantee for victory this way. You may also want to consider further panic influences as the monster or opposing army approaches.
same here. seems to have been introduced on this last patch
I asked the same thing and no one responded either.
1. Tactical battles still need work. I would like to see more interaction with the actual battle field (line of site, tile bonus', etc). I would also like to place my army rather than have it show up like a mob at the beginning of a battle 2. AI but that has already been discussed and has not been completed so not a big deal yet 3. I would like to see more "moral" questions or choicees with quests. If I take on a quest or decline, I would like
description of Dark Concoction has a spelling error. "...It tases even worst" should read "it tastes even worst"
I am having issues within my own kingdom. Infact now that I have read ydejin's issue with paths around mountains, that does seem to be where I get stuck a large part of the time. It's not me trying to go over inaccessible mountain squares, it when I have to go near near mountain slopes, etc. instead of going to the square, it decides to go the opposit direction. It can find its way, as I said, if I click just one square away at a time (essentially holding
I know the general feeling is that the battle animations should be faster than slower and I do not have a problem with spell animations, etc but the actual walking animation is soooo fast it kind of seems too fast. I noticed you can speed up battles but cant slow it down past "normal" . I may be in the minority but I would like to slow the battle movement just a bit.
Has anyone else noticed some strange path finding characteristics? I like to select my army or hero and click a destination further down the map but when I do this the army takes all sorts of crazy paths. It seems like a click fest when I constantly can only click on 2 two squares at a time.
Hmm, I would be OK with it if "hand to hand" meant X-men Wolverine like blades. Think Freddy Kruger on the battle field!
This is a beta? I honestly think this beta is better than many of the recent "final" games I have purchased. I am having great fun thus far and no crashes. Just the fact you have a tutorial WITH video...wow...well done so far!
I have an HP touchsmart in the kitchen. I don't know but I think Windows 8 makes sense on that machine.
Good way to do it. Not a 'real' version... just a 'Preview'. When it starts getting into the Betas and RC, I guarantee it'll have an expiration date. Also.. if you aren't doing it with a touchscreen capable device... you're probably missing a great deal of the 'experience' from what Sinofsky demonstrated. Hmmm... Jim has an HP Touchscreen... lol. j/k. Don't d
Thanks everyone for the responses. I am going to play with the demo a bit longer and see if i can invest in the time necessary to get more fun out of it. Its sounds like it may be worth it after all.
Just got a new PC and can play games again which puts me way behind the times but trying to catch up. I downloaded the demo off Steam and fiddled with it some but frankly it seems a bit...boring. Everytime I go to a town or castle and try to talk to anyone I am told they dont need my help, have no work and go see the elder...who then tells me the same thing. In a final act of desperation, I decided to hack up a town only to find I could not give anyone as much as a paper cut and t
thanks for the congrats everyone. Now...maybe I will try to play this Elemental game everyone has been talking about. wink, wink ;) \
If you know how to build one, $500 would get you into something ok nowadays.
You make a good point. I was thinking of taking my old PC and just rebuild it and see what I come up with since its just laying around anyway. I have never built a PC before so it may be fun. Guess I can only use the old case now and go from there but doesn't New Egg have PC builder kits?
I just purchased a new PC (I-7 Processor, 10G RAM, 2TB storage, video card (OK, can't remember the model) and I can actually play new video games now. I can't play on Ultra settings but all the games I am interetsed in playing work on high settings just fine (Total War Shogun 2, King Aurther, Heroes VI (beta), and more). Not bragging since I am sure many are already playing these games but WOW...too many games to play now. I was starting to think that as I approach 4
I am sure this has been said before (could not find the link when checking though) but the more I read about Fallen Enchantress, the more it seems to be very Game of Thrones like. I, being a huge fan of the book series (almost done with book 3), absolutely love that. Infact, with all the human like factions, dynasties, even the updated graphics, I don't think one would have to go far in creating a true Game of Thrones mod. With season one under our belts and FE coming so
