I agree with the original post. Some are pretty meh to be worth a point. My arguement with FBT and Death Magic is there's nothing comparable for life magic or other elemental types. Complete agreement with civics suggestion, why not have an efficient builder type ? Would like to see warriors or warrior caste give a bonus to attack for trained units. Or make a fighter figurine (think scar stone but its made out of metal instead of crystal )&n
Makes sense, that's how it was in Gal Civ. And to your question. Gifts and bribes should work. Trades to a smaller degree.
It's a new thing, I understand. But rather leave it alone, change descriptions to match level of potential pain a person is dialing up. Like warning "*Chuck Norris* mode, only use if you are really asking for a world of pain." Which also got me to thinking, is there a huge difference between normal / challenging. Like is there any best routines monster AI use vs not use ? Some numbnuts like me might actually think it still one slider c
Boo to the nay-sayers who say this is not Civ as an answer. This was a cool thing that Civ did, yes. I would much prefer that either through diplomacy or conversion this was possible. I'd prefer a weak ally came to me for help and as a last resort gave up it's sovereignty as a last resort (ie they're getting crushed by another faction ) and prefer to live under my rule than the current scorched earth policy of just burning everything to the ground so
This is excellent news making me wish it was Thursday and I was already testing the latest. Crosses fingers and hopes it works as good as it sounds here.
1. Yes. I hate it. Many times due to this the initial perpetrator is not harmed/bothered. 2. No. Not at all. There's like a weak zone near start then things get progressively worse/harder. Till finally you're bounded by some really strong lair monsters, which can really cause you to stop and think or say bye to your scouts. 3. Yes. Absolutely yes. I also feel like the AI doesn't give a crap abo
It doesn't hurt to hold onto it. I thought it's only when you equip you feel the weight of the item.
Either way you get defensive, with Krax or a Custom Faction, that's not everybody. Secondly, what is not mentioned was who was the caster and what level. The drake's level. A lot of the time I'd argue that the drake should resist if you're lower level and even if you're his level should have some minor chance at it. IMHO, I'd look at the drake's resist values and what kind of mastery values champions have and tweak that.&
In not so many words. No. I'm quite positive there's combo spells with death magic. You want to pick on water. Try Arcane Veil. Resist every spell ?!? Is that even fair ?
Or some way to autoate the go away command. Its very tedious telling them to go every. single. turn.
This. "Insanity is trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. " - Albert Einstein
I had to rethink my stance on scouts. I think they are good. I use them in small groups not single pairs. Seem to live thru battles they have to fight vs the wandering types. The high power lair guardians will always tear a new one. I don't necessarily disagree with your spell idea. So [e digicons]k1[/e] for ideas.
I would like to nominate Lisbeth the Light. Unlike Kallius or Nochd she comes with the uber skill of weak. along with merchant and water.
yeah, all the wraiths (or any custom faction with binding) units give you a better unit at upgrading shrines. As for their purpose and usefulness. Free is free. but slightly better than mites?
Really this is so wrong. Simultaneous can explain why a lot of time the loser who set it off don't get attacked. The thing about not attacking outpost just makes me sad. Especially since some players will argue nonstop building of pioneers is a strategy. And a winning one at that. As a player the only way not to get peeved off about this whole thing has been to just be the biggest prick and set off all I can against the AI
This mod is pretty sweet!
The one thing I totally don't get with magic weapons is that if you compare such and such longbow with such and such longbow, or mace or whatever there was a different BASE damage and a different element type damage. Also interesting is that shard scaling went down, not up. [e digicons]X|[/e] Balance is a funny thing, can't wait to see how this plays. Hate to see so many attack values get lowered but I tel myself majority of tho

Oh yeah the rarity thing.
Whether one actually gets to put the pieces themselves or not may not be make or break. Being able to at least determine for one side front, middle, back is.. Tired of my warriors hitting the back row and archers and casters getting front row and nailed.
I really don't think it's too much due to other enchants where you can have +defense and +hp and +init. So may as well have +attack also.
I disagree. On all points. But the last one I would probably give you cause I just don't have champs down the governor line.
Which isn't an issue if you consider the rarity on those items.
Am I playing the same game? I thought all the prices from selling stuff back was total crap. I had to build up my cities to get gold flowing in my coffers.
