In short essence. I would like to also see what each city is currently at in grain and materials as well. Also, I would like to see a column added for city unrest levels. I know it would help me a great deal with who builds what and city planning, I think this would help others as well.

It's not just bandits. Any wandering mob, like mites even can be on it's lair. Watch what you click on! [e digicons][/e]

Personally, I don't think the monsters are working as intended. Since the AI builds like mad and the monsters ignore them all the real estate will be bought up whether the player expands or not. I guess that hits all three of your points. I was hoping the monster issues were gone.. guess not. One last thought, are you taking into account monsters from dangerous quest zones? Areas where you get next to them you trigger some k

From a gaming perspective building units is not unheard of. Looks like you still would have to tab over between units and buildings so it's kind of a wash how I see it.

I have a top of the line gaming rig, as I am sure you do and many others do. There's no reason to complain about graphics they're awesome and I can't say enough good things about the art and graphics. Is this topic for real ? Trollolololol.

A complete wipe of my folders in C:\Documents did the trick. After a complete re-download and install AFTER uninstalling everything. At least I can check out the beta again, whew.

Funny thing that I was able to play 2 games then ... nada. Well every time I click on a Sovereign and hit Next I get this popup error from windows trying to find a solution (good luck, lol ) and the game exits to desktop. I've even tried default Sovs to try and be sure it wasn't a problem with custom, but that didn't work either. Here is dropbox of debug.err - http://

[quote who="DGB246" reply="258" id="3183828"]Hey Steam fanboys I'm running into another issue with Steam in that it won't let me run any installed mods for Civ 5 now. The original system was very good but now we have Steam workshop and I can't even get a simple clock utility to run. Of course you can't simply phone them up and sort it out because they have no contact numbers so you're forced to email or forum post them and hope they get back sometime in the follo

I would imagine it is supposed to be, but it is currently not. I can cite examples where my forces lost more hp and units with auto-play, whereas auto-resolve would have shown victory with no losses. I would definitely say when in doubt, do it yourself or auto-resolve it.

They really worked on the monster AI. Played a game without having Deadly monsters (out of nowhere) crash into your 2nd or 3rd city is good. Still want to check it out more - so far so good. So very good.

I disagree only because I fail to see it used properly. Brad and Stardock can and do work miracles with the AI and admittedly if the AI just had dedicated casters that did their assigned role would this idea be needed? I'd say no. But definitely worth a write-up if it gets people thinking about the issue. I also disagree with the heal hate and losing of mana system ideas.

Like mentioned, early its nice. No reason the AI couldn't be tweaked to see the value in keeping its units. I will point out that Empires are dark magic and don't have it, but they could/should drain life instead. I'd like to see another heal spell of some type since dark magic just seems OP in comparison to me. Drain Life > Heal. The dark caster did damage and healed a unit all in one spell/turn. This may need to get place higher up
