1.) Exploring the world -- by far, this is my favorite thing in FE:LH. This includes finding loot, encountering interesting creatures/monsters, and running into (what I call) the "epic quest regions". 2.) Building your empire, especially with regards to developing your cities and planning their growth "path" (town, conclave, or fortress -- and what their specialization within each path might be). 3.) Quoting myself from the 1.4 announcement thread:
Am thoroughly enjoying the new update, in terms of both improvements and bug fixes. However... Since downloading 1.4, I've been getting a lot of CTD's when trying to load saved games -- probably about 50% of the time. Anyone else having a similar issue?
Okay

Good news. Looks like someone over at Ubi managed to come up with some common sense.
I've been keeping my eye on this one as well. There's too little info to really guess as to how it'll turn out, but what there is so far looks pretty good.
For me, it would be either Birth of the Federation or Lords of the Realm 2 . (I can't remember which one I owned first.)
I was just about to start a new thread on this game, but I see igorCRO beat me to it. [e digicons]:)[/e] I already kicked in my pledge. Despite the disappointments most of the 4x games this last year have turned out to be, this one looks like it could be something truly special.
i am just now looking at this game. so i am a big fan of galactic civilizations, Galactic Civilizations II, Master of Orion and Master of Orion II, the total war series, the civilization series and many other games of that genre. I am however not a fan of RTS games, i played them all when i was younger and some more recent additions - command and conquer, dune, total annihilation, supreme commander. They had their mo
seanw3's appalling misunderstanding of geography aside, he does have a point: The animals in your country are frickin' scary! Yes, your women are both attractive and promiscuous (a most excellent combination), but I don't think even that can make up for the fact that most non-sapient creatures down there constantly try to kill you. I much prefer countries where the spiders aren't the size of pickup trucks and slavering venom... <
Awesome! I've been keeping half an eye on this one for a while now, so I'm glad it finally has its own site. Thanks for the heads-up!

TNG remains my favorite Star Trek series, with DS9 coming in a very close second. (TOS is a distant third; VOY and ENT barely even register for me.) I agree a lot of the TNG episodes (particularly from the 1st, 2nd, and 7th seasons) don't hold up very well...but then I thought most of the episodes from those three seasons weren't very good in the first place. I'd still rate "Tapestry" and "All Good Things" as being among my top episodes, along with t
I'm willing to bet I'll be 40 (am currently 35) well before GalCiv3 comes out. (I wouldn't mind being wrong, though!)
Wait, wait, wait, let me get this straight. They're re-making one of the best RPG's of all time, and they're releasing it for the iPad of all platforms?
That's *in addition* to for the PC. So we're still covered. :)
It's definitely better with mods (I use the Absolute Enhancement Mod myself), but I wouldn't say it's "pathetic". Of course, you've probably played the game more than I have, so it's entirely possible the vanilla version has long since worn thin for you. [e digicons]B)[/e]
So I'm still not clear on something: Will we at least still be able to purchase a physical boxed copy of FE from Stardock?
