Good news. Looks like someone over at Ubi managed to come up with some common sense.

I've been keeping my eye on this one as well. There's too little info to really guess as to how it'll turn out, but what there is so far looks pretty good.

For me, it would be either Birth of the Federation or Lords of the Realm 2 . (I can't remember which one I owned first.)

I was just about to start a new thread on this game, but I see igorCRO beat me to it. [e digicons]:)[/e] I already kicked in my pledge. Despite the disappointments most of the 4x games this last year have turned out to be, this one looks like it could be something truly special.

TNG remains my favorite Star Trek series, with DS9 coming in a very close second. (TOS is a distant third; VOY and ENT barely even register for me.) I agree a lot of the TNG episodes (particularly from the 1st, 2nd, and 7th seasons) don't hold up very well...but then I thought most of the episodes from those three seasons weren't very good in the first place. It's definitely better with mods (I use the Absolute Enhancement Mod myself), but I wouldn't say it's "pathetic". Of course, you've probably played the game more than I have, so it's entirely possible the vanilla version has long since worn thin for you. [e digicons]B)[/e]

Like others here, I have not uninstalled Impulse because I don't want to miss any updates to games I've purchased from it in the past. However, I will not be purchasing any more games from it in the future. GamersGate has become my primary DD site now (Steam=evil).
