[Crash] 1.4 - CTD occurs when loading saved game

However... Since downloading 1.4, I've been getting a lot of CTD's when trying to load saved games -- probably about 50% of the time. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Okay, I believe I have this narrowed down somewhat:
What seems to be going on is that a CTD occurs whenever I exit to the main menu and try to reload a saved game. It doesn't seem to happen (or at least not nearly as often) when I'm loading a saved game after starting up FE:LH. It's only when I'm already playing, and then exit to the main menu and try to load a saved game...and it's happening almost every time.
So for all intents and purposes, if I'm playing Legendary Heroes, and then want to load a saved game, I have to quit FE:LH first, and then restart it. Not the end of the world, obviously, but it is a little annoying.
