What Ron said. While I'm sure Stardock is shooting for that release date, it's entirely possible -- if not probable -- that it could be pushed back a few days/weeks.

Actually, Brad Wardell ( Frogboy ) says what happend right here in the recent Gamasutra preview : "Some years ago, Atari approached us because we had talked about doing a fantasy strategy [game]," Wardell recalled. "We made an agreement, then their legal people killed the deal in terms of everything that was required." "They wanted to own everything w

I actually already caught this one yesterday. Some very good stuff. I've yet hear a single thing about this game that doesn't make me salivate with anticipation. [e digicons][/e] (Yay, the smilies are working again!)

This just sounds better and better all the time. I'm very happy to hear it confirmed that we can in fact found new cities. My inner SimCity geek chortles with glee! :D

How on earth did you manage to figure out the translation? Is might as well be Greek to me. (Actually, it looks rather Dwarven, but you know what I mean.)

So exactly what kind of diplomatic options will we have, anyway? Are they going to be anything like what's in GalCiv 2?
This game looks like crap. Fantasy is really been-there-done-that.
Thank you for your constructive comments. Truly, it is an in-depth and well thought-out critique.
What a way to mess with success, Stardock. Why no Galciv III? Why?
Because a lot of people want an open-world 4x game set in a fantasy setting, of which there are

I'm a lot less concerned with how a game looks than how it *plays*. So long as the graphics are at least functional and I can make out everything reasonably well, anything else (visual-wise) is just gravy. Also, I'm loving the size of the game world. That map looks freakin' huge! Can't wait to play this game. Everything about it sounds totally sweet. :)
