There is something wrong when we could roll Priest>angles>Cats into one espensive upgrade and it wouldn't really change the game at all. Actaully, it would probably make it better because then "newb" players wouldn't be able to make the mistake of buying Priests early :D Early Priests needs to be viable just for the sake of diverse strategies in this game. What should be done? A buff to damage and healing, or a nerf to gold and XP?
"oh TBs Fire Aura III is +15% attackspeed, +15% movementspeed, +30 damage"
Well this is just something that should come up in the tool tips. That is silly that type of information isn't avalible right now. But besides that, you SHOULD be able to learn about this game by playing more. If you're playing agains Erebus and you can't figure out how a certain combo killed you in less than 5 seconds, play as Erebus youself to see what kin
This havent been confirmed to be a bug or a feature, but all evidence leads to it being a bug. Otherwise, why isnt it mentioned as a drawback of the fire form in the skill description?
I wish we could get an offical state ment on this. I think if the TB in Fire mode could chase and shoot at the same time, it would make a Hyrbrid build even more versitale. Like being able to take Fire Aura instead of Permafrost to chase down enemies...or maybe that's why y
(You cast somehing with a 7 second CD, 8 seconds after casting you get hit with a 100% Deep Freeze, CD goes to 14 seconds and locks out the skill again.)
Ah ok. So the trick is you cast Deep freeze when the cool down is about up or ended recently. So for example...bare with me... Lets say I cast Rain of Ice(14 sec. cool down). At about the 14-15 second mark I get hit with a Deep Freeze IV. It is then reset to a 30 second but since 14 seconds alrea
if an erebus gets staff of warmage, he is able to cast nearly 2 extra bites(plus potions). but of course you cannot know this if it is in the first minute of the game and you cannot see the enemies items/mana.
Yeah but anyone can do this. Why are "surpises" not pro?
then there is bluffing, so if i was playing erebus, i would pretend to have no mana left after the second bite, then cast a potion on very low hp(makes them really think i have no mana)

Ah, well maybe that's my problem. I haven't been stacking the speed items [e digicons][/e] I guess I've been trying to go without them because it does seem like speed buffs pwn in this game. I wanted to go for different items to see when they were effective. I've using Blood of the Fallen all the time lately. I just got enough points for Staff of Renewal so I'm gonna give that a go. I did try a stricter level progession according to the gu
keeping it secret is fucking retarded. there is only the "bluffing" benefit. it just makes it easier for noobs(people cant complain about "omg u got that crap item").
I would think it would make it eaiser for noobs.
I think it's doing what it was designed to do by the devs, but that some people are expecting it to work differently cuz of the wording of its description. I initially expected it to increase enemy cooldowns by that % and keep them there, but then i realized that the cooldowns go back to normal when the effect wears off.
But what I'm saying is that most abilties have a 7 sec cooldown or more as it is. If it goes back to normal after 7 seconds, what did it do? [q
this game is going to fail very hard in the "competitive" area. Either somebody will never risk anything as everything is a gamble, or somebody just charges on the basis of "I *could* be winning. at a professional level, this game becomes a joke if every single player is going to be thinking that. if there is any element of doubt in a situation, THEY ARENT GOING TO KEEP FIGHTING which means it ruins the game bec
How often is this "bluffing" as a fundamental game mechanic actually used? Rarely if at all from what I've seen
Then I guess you haven't played verses many Sedena's hiding in the Fog of War, giving that Demigod you thought you had a clutch heal :D
And who's the say that the ability to bluff makes this a better game? There's bluffing in Poker. There's no bluffing in Chess. Which is the better game? Not so clear now, huh?

I don't disagree with the principle. There's no reason to show enemy cap locks, it's a good mystery to keep track of. However, the Fog of War thing isn't a good argument. You can see flags through fog, for one thing, and you get to keep track of enemy death timers even if they died hidden in fog.
I think you took the Fog of War thing to literal. If you kill an enemy no matter where they are, visible or Fog of War, there announcer yells it out and you s
hmm that make frost tb the strongest demi in the game so u want to fix his cooldown makinging him stronger sounds like a great idea
I just want Deep Freeze to make sense. Meaning if you get interupted or cast a spell while affected by Deep Freeze, your cooldown timers won't tick down during that

This is what I always wondered. If Deep Freeze is supposed to increase cooldowns, but it says the effect only last 7 seconds, doesn't that mean abilities with a cooldown of 7 seconds or more aren't really effected? So in it's currently state it's only reliable for it's Interupt/Shatter mechanic?
Well, the reason that you're doing a little worse with this build against DGs is that you're missing your anti-DG measures (Ring of Fire and high level Deep Freeze early on).
No what I meant is my play style hasn't changed with trying the OP's build and I do worse. I do the support role early on, but since I lack big Fire Balls or Rain of Ice early (from spreading out my abilities in Permafrost/Fire Nova) it seems like I don't hit as hard quickly en

I've used a Hybrid build for a while. Before I would just go Rain of Ice, Fireball, Deep Freeze untill I get Fire and Ice. Then I'd dump the rest of my points into Ring of Fire er something. I tired your setup, utilizing Permafrost and Fire Nova a little early, and I have to say I'm doing worse. Mostly because I don't seem to notice Permafrost doing anything. When I get it, my opponenets are still running me down or getting away from me. And the slower attack speed is n

I have huge troubles with Generals that get early Priests minions when I play with my Torch Bearer. I try to play conservitive and run when I'm low, but the Priest kinda negate any harassment damage I do to them. I then have trouble farming creeps in the lanes around them. They are able to chase me away. Plus, sometimes I'll stick it out to try and kill them, and their Priests will pop out a clutch heal at the right moment and I die. Making me look like the newb feeding them kills. So
