As I want to compete in the metaverse and post topscores, A.I modding is not interesting to me. I hope that Stardock makes it so people can't edit the A.I and then abuse it in the metaverse.

An archer that runs of ammo, or discover their arrow cannot pierce opponent's exotic armor should have their morale dropped quickly. Morale of individual stacks should persist many game turns, until it returns back to its normal level. Conditions like fatigue, killing a dragon/heor/sov, g
MAN this topic grew fast! Everybody and their pet wants to give advice (or dictate rather....). I say you as gamedesigners need to make the calls even if everybody wants you to go a different route in some area since you knows what works and don't. I've also found myself to make bad suggestions...sometimes I was stubborn and sometimes I THOUGHT I knew how the game worked.... Retreating</str
I'm glad our input improved the game [e digicons]:)[/e] TACTICAL COMBAT I'm not sure how to do it the right way since every TBS is different and thus require different rules, but I firmly believe that the attacker must get the first move. About "my side moves first" vs "speed decides who moves first" I don't know what's best....I'm not gonna pretend that I know what's best. Consider
What are you trying to say here? That this player-elected comittee should have the power to ask for changes to the game and force the developers to make those changes? It sounds like you are saying that, but of course that would be absurd.
Why? For me it's obvious that the elite must rule. And if somebody doesn't like it then stop playing....

Thinking in RTS terms and knowing the little work it takes to activate formations which achieve great results I'm negative towards it.
I cannot see how Elementals lore is similar to GalCivs. Was there a cataclysm in GalCiv? Was there multiple races AND different cultures? I just don't see the similarities at all.
WHY do people feel a need to say that faction X and race Y STOLE/RIPPED OFF faction A and race B?? I say that it doesn't matter at ALL to me. It's all about execution. Eldar and Protoss Those two aren't alike at all. Only thing they have in common is that they are the elder hightech race with superior technology. Eldars armies are expensive, deal high damage, are very fast and focuses on ranged combat. They're fragile though. Protoss are also EXPENSIVE, got mostly ranged units and do high damage but they're very durable. They also got lots and lots of sp

My natural reaction to people demanding systemrequirements to be the same as a 5 year older game is: "Pfff get an upgrade, cheapskate!" But I don't care at all about what's needed to start the game.
