As mentioned previously, the number of stars ni the universe is too great to NOT have sentient life. Had no idea the (visible) universe was THAT big! A few million stars, ok, but a billion trillion??? How can there be so many??

I had no idea of Civs "achievements". When I say and read achievements I mean those you earn in games that gives you points and an avatar in an online profile like "Shen Long is in another castle" in Street Fighter II HD Remix. Having achievements to earn is something that will make me buy a game. Bought Universe at War because I wanted achievements.

Terran overpowered you say? I just got this feeling that Protoss always was and still is the most powerful race. Atleast they were in beta.
Also, don;t believe the hype. Bethesda was happy to tell you Fallout 3 had sold more units than Fallout 1 and 2 combined. Of course, what they didn't mention was that Fallout 1 and 2 only came out on PC. So when you look deeper and see that Fallout 1 and 2 TRIPLED the sales of the PC version of Fallout 3 you learn something. That in this multiformat world it's a lot easier for publishers to hide the truth, and as as long as the gaming media
the standard price in europe which is usually about £25 At the low end. Newer PC games in mainland Europe range anywhere from €30 to €50. Starcraft 2 is €60. The simple fact of the matter is that the UK is enjoying price ranges right now that were set a couple of years ago when the pound was stronger. It's devalued considerably against most western currencies since 2008 so I wouldn't expect those cheap prices

I can only see a difference in the green guys robe. The robe in the left pic is sharper and washed out on the right. Calling the right pics lightning "advanced" is severely misleading since I would assume that advanced lightning is much better.

I'm gonna get this next holiday sale for sure but I've never seen a gold version.
In the era of early 3d games, PC games did require more frequent upgrades. That hasn't been true for a while (my wife's nearly 3 year old computer still plays everything on the market easily), but perception changes slowly. My Nvidia's GTX285 can also max out any game on the market, and it's a pretty old card. I even got a pair of them in SLI when I got a new PC 2.5 years ago, and never *had* to turn SLI on, though found it he
btw you know what pisses me off, when new videocards are reviewed in magazines/or online they use the lastest cpu on the market, not the two year old cpu most of us have in our machines. So this way I could see if UPGRADING to the newest card makes sense for a two year old system. Chances are if you have the latest cpu

I liked Mafia :) But 50$ for one-playthrough games I can't justify anymore. I did it with the SNES and Playstation but back then I didn't know the worth of money. I plan to buy plenty of games during their next holiday sale but I want achievements! Also, their term of "revoke your account at any time for any reason" is a bit scary.

I love Worms [e digicons][/e] I've never completed a whole Worms game eventhough I've had Worms , Worms Armageddon , Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem so Worms Reloaded will be the first Worms game I will complete 100% of. The old Worms games campaigns and challenges were hardcore and not possible to complete for normal people. Now, do I preorder or do I wait for a holiday sale?</
This all debate just buffles me. judging by the quality of the missions on this campaign, it is fairly obvious blizzard seperated the game into 3 parts not because they wanted to milk the fan base, but because the terran campaign itself equals and surpass in length and production values all of the former sc1 campaigns and most other similiar games in the market, while succeding to provide a much better game than most of them,&nbsp

Amateur article. In the beginning when he says: "the released demon Kraxis" and stuff, it make it sound like it's a scripted mission like a mission in Majesty. He should say that it's randomly generated maps like MoM or random maps from Age of Wonders.

Animations is a possible gamebreaker to me. The way they were in Master of Magic is absolutely unacceptable today. I want to see a swordsman striking an enemy with his sword, the enemy mouthing according to the pain and damage and having the wound stay until the end of battle. The improvementchanges with citystructures multiplying the research/gildar/whatever is GREAT! Together with the influence of cities it's looking TRULY GREAT! Much praise to the one who thought it up! When the game was just announced, I wanted the strategic game to be about controlling points on the map (like the *points in Dawn of War and Company of Heroes.) It really is sad if many great models go to waste and only people modding will ever get to see and use them. Take advantage of that content to make the game richer!
Agreed 100%. Having lots of content solely for modders is a waste in my eyes since I intend to co

Some guys sure seem to like epic battles. I don't. In both RTS & TBS, epic battles feels unbalanced. A slippery slope of power. Though it's milder in RTS since you can escape at any time and there's no "I shoot first and you just sit there and take it". Strongest memory is Heroes of Might & Magic III. The bigger your stack, the more units dies from the other and thus less retaliation. Got disappointed in the Heroes system in Armageddons Bl
